NAGMAMADALI akong sumakay sa motor ko because i'm already late. Nasilip ko kanina sa GC na may meeting daw ang WBT. I will convince Coach Alejandro na paalisin na ako because i want to enjoy my remaining year here in CU na walang inaalalang team or obligation. And yung Family Dinner na sinabi ni Lyric, di ko sinipot.

I'm driving so fast and halos lahat ng madaanan ko ay napapatingin sa akin. Maybe because of the sound my motorcycle is making. Sorry na agad HAHAHAHA. The guards just let me in nung nasa gate na ako. Kilala na nila manong guard ang motor ko that's why. Dumiretso college campus. I immediately parked my Motorcycle sa reserved parking space for me. Hinubad ko na ang helmet ko at isinabit sa motor ko.

Binilisan ko ang paglalakad papunta sa Gym because i know the meeting already started. Kumatok muna ako bago pumasok and yup, It is indeed starting. All of them looked at me. Some of the new members looked at me with admiration while old members ay nginitian lang ako. Yung mga sanay na sa akin always being late like Russ and Ayes, kapatid din ni Loui. Coach Alejandro stopped speaking and looked at me.

"That habit of yours really needs to be changed, Andrico. You're a future businesswoman. You will lose the deal if you make them wait." I scratched my eyebrow at lumapit kila Russ and Ayes.

"I am sorry, Coach. Hindi na po mauulit." he looked at me na parang nagsasabing hindi ako naniniwala, sinabi mo na yan.

"Siguraduhin mo because you will still play until you graduate here in CU. No buts, Andrico." di niya na ako hinayaan magsalita when i tried to speak. "I want the Championship again, Andrico. This is your last playing year here in CU, bakit hindi mo iregalo sa amin to? I'm sure ayaw din ng teammates mo na umalis ka. Right guys?" nagsitanguan naman sila and i just sighed. I guess I have no choice, but pagiisipan ko pa din.

"Sir, sorry for asking but para saan po ang meeting na ito bukod sa pagpapa-stay kay Captain?" Justine asked. One of the potential team captain pag umalis ako. Everyone agrees with her kaya nagsalita si Coach.

"Remember RU?" we all nodded. Yun ang university na laging last sa standings sa NLSA.

NLSA stands for New Luiseno Sports Association, it is an athletic association of eight New Luiseno universities in the Philippines. Parang UAAP lang, but this is the New Luiseno version. Eight universities are competing against each other para tanghaling champion. The competition happens annually. The duration is from October 1 to May 31. May first semester sports and second semester sports. The eight-member schools are Chavez University(CU), Ignacio University(IU), Roxas University(RU), The Archangel Colleges(TAC), Pandora Colleges(PC), Don Bosco Community College(DBCC), Luiseno State University(LSU) and the New Luiseno University(NLU).

"Well may usap usapan na nakuha raw nila ang anak ni Grayson Brown as a new member sa basketball team nila." i tilt my head. Grayson Brown is one of the most outstanding basketball players here in the Philippines.

"I see, so she's a threat?" I asked. Coach Alejandro looked at me then he smirked. He removed the cloth that had been covering the board na katabi niya. In the board there were pictures of a girl and may mga pinunit din na infos from newspapers, they are all pinned using thumbtacks. They are interconnected with a red string. It's like a Evidence Board.

"She's Raven Brown. First year student, she took fine arts as her course at Roxas University. Nakalagay jan lahat ng nakalap kong information about her." I licked my lips and chuckled.

"Ginawa mo siyang suspect, Coach." All of them agreed at natawa sila. Ngumiti si Coach at tumingin sa akin.

"Well I think that's how I will get your Captain's attention since she's addicted to everything that is related to crime fiction. And I succeeded." i smiled at him at tumango he also smiled. "I already sent this on our group chat. Wag kayong magpa-petiks petiks lang. I want you all to observe Raven Brown. Anak siya ng isang legendary basketball player. I know all of you are great players, but we know that Grayson Brown is the greatest." we all have seriousness in our faces. Some of them are already looking at Raven's info sa GC while I remain staring at the board. I will never let you win as long as I am here.

I'M busy browsing my phone when someone placed a cup containing black coffee on my table. I'm currently at the cafeteria stalking Roxas University..

"Pure black coffee, no sugar or creamer for our captain.." I chuckled at tumingin sa babaeng tumabi sa akin. Si Monique. "I will never convince you to drink iced or cold coffee again."

I took the coffee at hinihipan ko iyon. I took a sip and immediately looked at her. "Paano mo nalaman ang timplang gusto ko?" she smirked at inginuso ang counter.

"Malakas ako sa kanila. Sikat ka pala dito and they already know your favorite kaya yun na ang sinabi kong timpla. Nahirapan pa ako nung una kase baka magalit ka daw" umiling ako at ipinagpatuloy ang pag inom ng kape. I really love strong black coffee pero hindi yung sobra pero basta . I can't explain it. "Are you busy?"

"Hmm not really. In one month, the NLSA will begin.. I'm just thinking of tactics on how to win against them." sumilip siya sa phone ko and i just let her.

"Roxas University? Kahit ata di ka mag search about them matatalo niyo sila.." umiling ako at inistalk ang FB Account ni Raven.

"She's Raven Brown, Grayson Brown's daughter. She's a threat kahit freshman pa lang siya. They have a chance to defeat us, Mon." napatango siya at kinuha sakin ang phone ko.

"I once had a basketball match with her and her friends. And I must say, she's quite good." agad niyang nakuha ang atensyon ko.

"You did? How did it go? How does she play basketball? Paano ka niya natalo?" She looked at me unbelievably and she placed her hands on the left part of her chest.

"How can you say that? Ang sakit mo naman, Andrico. I actually defeated her '' i looked at her from head to toe kaya sumimangot siya. "Fine. I think my friend filmed that game but i'm not sure if nasa kanya pa yon. But I will still ask malay mo diba?" tumango ako at di pa rin makapaniwala na nakatingin sa kanya. But something is on my mind at that moment, I can defeat her. We can defeat her.
