You finish collecting all the flowers, walking down the temple of osiris and Isis you sigh putting your bucket down and stretching because it was hurting you
"excuse me" you hear behind you
"Oh sorry I didn-" you turn around quickly to see osiris the one you worship
"My lord! I apologize for my rudeness"
You get on your knees and bow but you hear a slight chuckle coming from him
"My child it is ok stand up" You stand up raising your head to see his eyes beading at you
"aren't you something" he looks into your eyes so slightly it makes your skin crawl "thank you?" you say unsure not knowing if it is a compliment, his face went soft in away when he saw your eyes "You look like him" he sighs of sadness and walks off.
Who was he on about? You don't have anything special about you except your eye color it was a mix of blue and red but mostly blue and the left eye was a different tint, these eyes were passed down by many generations.
You don't believe you can continue that, you're parents lost you however Isis saved you and You're grateful for that.
You snap out of thought and quickly rush to you room to rest for tomorrows duty's.
Its morning and you get up tired but you don't have any choice but get up.
You love sleeping its probably one of your fav things to do but you hardly get any sleep, knowing you're stuck to work forever pains you
Putting on your gown and headpiece that had angel wings wrapping around the back of your tight bun.
"Akila what are you doing here so early?" You said shocked
"For you of course last time you got lost finding your way in the garden"
It was true what she said, you are new here ,only came here last week so it's very confusing for you

"Thank you Akila I return the favor" you both bow and laugh a bit.
Akila was there for you when you came into the temple cold and injured from the recent events of the random weather but other than that you really forgot how you got to the temple of isis
"Y/N this way" You realise you were trailing behind a bit "Ah sorry" you rush up to her
"So have you talked to the head mistress about your lessons?" Akila says
"No I shall do it today!" You smile, finally getting some words out after thinking so much about the past.
After your conversation with Akila you head over to the high mistresses quarters to discuss you're lessons
You knock and hear her approval to come in
"Greetings servent I didn't quite get your name I must apologize." She said but with a sly grin
"It's Y/N my mistress"
she loudly laughs "What an ordinary name and don't you look ordinary too" She laughed like a crazy woman but you stay quiet
"so what have you came here for? to waste my time?" she sits down and you bow at her
"I have been looking for updates on my lessons, I'm new here you see and I was told to meet you to retrieve them"
she walkings over to her table and takes a scroll out which read something
"This is you're lessons, if you lose them I will not be giving you another one, First the lessons are Cleaning, Planting and structure sometimes the royals will request certain servants to their personal side but I doubt you will be chosen, anything they and I say goes am I clear?"
she says with a stern look handing you the scroll, you reply with a nod "Yes high mistresses" she dismisses you.
You look on the table of lessons to see that you have planting lessons first, great you have no idea where to go
"Excuse me? can I request directions to this place" you ask the scary-looking man with red eyes and red hair
"Who do you think you're talking to peasant" he growls at you, he must be important if he's acting like this! crap you have to get out of there "I'm so sorry" you bow down on the ground
"Get up, you're obviously clueless on who I am? Ridiculous" he just storms off, weird..
"Y/N you have arrived" Akila meets with you
"It was a very scary chat with the high mistresses" you quietly whisper to her so no one hears you talking badly about the higher
"Ah I see shes always like that" You both laugh again and take your places and the session starts
"Welcome everyone I see that you all have arrived safely" Everyone bows so you quickly do the same
"Alright let us begin." through out the lesson you felt eyes beading off you, someone was definitely watching but you had to focus.
The lesson was long but included the basic knowledge of the gardens, firstly we cannot touch the gods flowers at any occasion unless given permission, we must do everything the gods and higher tell us and many other things.
"Follow me" One of our master calls on me Akila and two other ladies working, she points harshly at the newly fresh soil
"Place everything in order do not get it incorrect!" she shouts hovering over us as we worked
"yes mistress" we all say in sync getting straight to the work in hand
"Akila can you pass me the bucket" a younger woman says, she's beautiful you're surprised she isn't a princess! shes that beautiful
"No worries Anat" You now know the woman's name
"Can we talk here?" I say quietly trying not to get caught while getting my hands dirty in the soil
"of course, we can but we must be quiet"
"phew, I'm relieved I didnt want to stay silent all day" you laugh
"All though if a god comes by then you must instantly be quiet and respect them" Anat says
"do they come regularly"I question, she shakes her head in reply "No its very rare although Osiris and Isis may come any moment so we must be prepared at all times"
I nod excitedly and insert the seeds in a very straight line.
"All finished!" you say with excitement and stretch
"You there!" The mistress called out to you
"Yes my misstress?" you bow to her
"What are you waiting for, go in your group to collect water!" she shouts and you hurry off to your assigned group "My mistake" you mutter under your breath
"What was that" you hear a mans voice behind you
"Oh I didn't say anything, maybe" you pout and turn around to meet the person's eyes
"My lord!" you quickly bow seeing all of your group doing the same
"Don't worry about that, may I have your time?" he says and you nod without a thought
"Of course my lord" You dusted your hands off on your gown and followed him into a room you had never seen before.
