Protecting him

"It seems we have reached a stop!" I let out a deep sigh, all that escaping tired me out

"Y/N? What will come of me now" the little boy asks while clutching onto his polearm and setting up a spot to lay in the sand

"If you fight, nothing will happen but if u don't do anything you'll be taken away from me" I gave him a very stern look, he couldn't keep the eye contact and looked away.

"Where are we going next then?" He smiled

"Somewhere safe from everything, where u can live in harmony" I stick my sharp weapon in the ground and fell on the ground looking up at the orange sky "the sun will soon set we should stay here" I say

"Did you bring anything at all?" He asked

"You do not need basic human necessities however I do like water and food, Anubis do not worry about me only yourself I'll be perfectly fine, and if it comes to me being taken then you MUST escape" I told him, I'm well aware that Osiris is looking for me too but as a pair with Seth, speaking of Seth I miss him dearly.

"I hear footsteps" Anubis whispers as she quickly but quietly gets up from his resting place

"A light, these people are most likely dangerous" why else would they be travelling in a desert with nothing around but big rocks and sand for days on end

We hid behind a tall rock waiting for these people to disappear but they didn't they just talked, I needed to see what was going on

"Wait here" I told Anubis and handed him his weapon as I went behind a closer rock near to them

"So? Are we lost now!" A man was raging

"Sir I told you I know where I'm going but it's way too dark in this hour" the calmer individual spoke

"I don't care how far or dark it is just get me out of this place!!" He screamed making birds fly away

I climbed the tall rock to get a better view but a piece cracked off making a sound

"Who's there!" The angry one shouted, I could see him clearly, he had long brown hair golden eyes and looked quite expensive the other was a short old man with no hair and a freakishly long nose

"Come out or else" he looked around and nearly spotted me however I quickly ducked down and swiftly went back to Anubis

"We should leave.." I whispered but stepped back when seeing the brown haired man right behind Anubis

"Found you" he smiled and I grabbed Anubis protecting him in my embrace

"Oh dear I don't want to cause trouble, he's not a valuable to me, but you.. I feel power leaching off you" another man comes from behind me and tries grabbing me but I quickly kick him off his feet, many men start to show up

"I can't fight them all" I whispered to Anubis he nodded

I can't just let this be the end, I will try, I let Anubis go slightly and stare at the smiling guy

"What do you want then" I growl pointing the weapon off Anubis since mine was near the man

"I want you, nothing sketchy just a little business" he chuckled, his aura had nothing good, he was a bad person

"You aren't having me, I have duty to fulfill" you quickly hit the men around you with wind and chucked a rock at the rest from the ground, the main man swiftly dogged and quickly approached me with a knife, I pushed Anubis out the way and dogged the man's attacks, he kicked my leg so I fell to the ground however I swiftly pushed myself up to punch the knife out of his hand, he was fast his pace was nothing I have worked with, he took the chance and pulled Anubis from his spot into his grasp

"Let the kid go" I panicked, "I'll come with you  just let him go" he smiled and let go pushing him over, instead he grabbed my wrists and pulled me near his face " you will be worth quite a lot" he snickered "Go find your dad, he's hiding at ____" I yelled to Anubis while getting dragged away, he looked scared but he knew where he was going from his expression.

The man threw me into a cage, treating me like an animal.

His men all collected up and rode their camels away while also dragging me along, I saw Anubis disappear into the distance as the night got shorter

-SETH PRESENT-

"Where are we going" I grumbled playing with the birdbrains hair as he flew in the dark

"You will soon see, Y/N should be there as that was the plan" the bird spoke

"And if she's not?" I ask

"Then we wait but she shouldn't be long if she's not there then something is up"

I sigh, I don't think she should run into anything and if she does then she can get out of it, I hope...

The dark was much, all I could see is fire down below from people walking around, merchants and slaves, families and workers all the people struggling to survive, humans simply have no control of their life's.

"We arrived" we reached a dark cave but as we stepped inside the darkness disappeared, it was overcome by bright lights in this tropical area, flowers were lit up as the water was a bright blue colour

"What is this place?" I ask but Horus just smiles

I lean back onto Horus taking in all the beautiful scents, it made me feel drowsy, I've never felt this feeling before, Horus sits down and looks down at me "sleep" he pats my head, as much as a I hate him I couldn't resist the temptation and I shut my eyes.
