The time passes as it's now morning. max woke up a little before the others and left the cabin quietly, he sat against the wall outside as Fetch runs around. Doing his business. Max looks at the views till one thing catches his eye.
Pov: Max
"The most unreachable goals are the most rewarding..." I say as I look at a tall mountain in the far distance. "Maybe it has the key to escape? Maybe I can get it before another person dies... I think to myself before I decide to take the chance. what do I have to lose? I get my bag from inside and take a little food and water as my bag can only hold so much. I leave a note saying I left to explore for a bit and I'll be back later. I walk down towards the mountain scared but I think it has the key, it might be able to save us so I continue walking with Fetch walking with me.
POV: Pat
I woke up annoyed. "Man, this floor is less comfterbule than the dirt HOW?!?" I questioned in my head. I looked around and noticed one dummy missing. "were the F"CK is MAX?!?" I question in my head. I notice Bowie next to a note on a small table. I get up and grab it. "Im going to go exploring and see if I can find a way to leave the dome. whatever you do. do not leave the cabin tomorrow or it will get you... ill explain when I get back..." I read the note in my head and tried not to laugh.
he's bad at pranking us. but at the same time he does not like to play pranks... what does he mean by it? "What you doing?" asked Jake. "well Max left exploring," I said as I told her what was on the note. "oh creepy," she said. "P*SY!!!" I say teasing her. everyone each starts waking up. "what's going on?" asked Jenny. I made sure they are all awake before telling them.
everyone seemed to be a bit worried and surprised. but ben just seemed like he was having a meltdown. I choose not to question it to not make him worst. But I will keep an eye on him. "guys how about we go down to the force field and try to break it?" I suggested. "why?" asked Jake. "well idiot we can't live to hear forever plus I want to go home." I said.
"We all do Pat," said Jenny. "then let's try?!?" I argued. "he has a point," said Anna. "sure let's go," said Ben. we all started to get ready we knew we were gonna come back so I left a note for Max in case he came back. we proceeded to head down the mountain to the car.
A Few Hours Later POV: Max
I noticed the sun was getting ready to set. I noticed the time was around 5:35 PM. "well buddy you hungry?" I asked Fetch looking at him. I sit down and set up a little fire and give him some food as we rest. we took short breaks in between walking but this one was planned to be long as I could tell Fetch was tired. and so was I.
Fetch was very hungry cause he ate all his food in a few minutes. "ill give you more later remember it has to last us till tomorrow... well at this point not a hope we can get to the mountain and climb it before it goes dark. plus all I have is my phone light and my watch." I said looking at Fetch.
My arm started to hurt so I took off my left glove. "huh... I think Shi is targeting me. god, that's a stupid name." I say to myself as I looked at the red circle on my hand. Fetch looked up at me as he was sitting and resting with me. I put my hand into my bag touching the crucifix again. "AAHH MOTHER F"CKER" I yell as Fetch jumps and I hold back tears as it hurt like hell.
I hear stronger screams in the distance, I got scared as I recognized the voice... "come on boy we can't stay here..." I say to fetch putting whatever I had out back into my bag as I took a thick stick and lit it on fire at the top to act as a light. I proceeded to kill the fire on the ground and me and Fetch proceeded to continue walking.
I was speed walking as I didn't want that Demon to find me again. Fetch could probably sense I was pealing my skin from fear as the smallest sounds triggered me, and it didn't help that it got darker.
A lot of time passes as I and fetch get to the mountain. I look up and realize. "Yeah, not a hope. we are doing this in the morning maybe 1 or 2 AM" I say to fetch. I spotted a cave and shined my almost dead Tourch into it. "this can do." I say. I gather some firewood and start a little fire inside the decently-sized cave.
I watched as the smoke leaves true the main entrance which is pretty big. "Alright bud get some sleep... your gonna need it..." I said to fetch he lays his head on me as I snuggled into my sleeping bag. "What did we do to end up in this nightmare?" I ask myself quietly as I doze off to sleep. The fire was warming up the cave nicely, so falling asleep was easy for once.
Many hours later I woke up to the sounds of footsteps... I Sprunge up looking around and waving my phone torch which I bearly managed to turn on. I realized the footsteps were slow and heavy. I recognized them. I watched as the Creature walked in front of the entrance. I stare at it in fear as I see the full thing... every last detail of its body. It proceeded to slowly enter the cave with a smile.
