the group was sitting around this girl all staring at lana grubbs who was crying over a dead body. "whos that?" john b asked the blonde girl beside him.
"its scooter grubbs. he was out during the storm." the girl replied as she pulled out her phone and opened it to show the group a picture of scooter's body. "check out this pic i got."
tanner ran towards the nearest trash can and puked as soon as she saw the picture. its ironic how a picture of a dead body can make tanner nauseas but listening to people talk about other people being brutally murdered, cant.
"i don't know if i should be shocked or scared that you took a picture of the body." tanner said as she walked back to her spot in between john b and jj. she rested her head in john b's shoulder and jj and kie both glared at him as he put his arm around tanners shoulder.
"what kind of boat did he have?"
"somehow, that dirt bag copped a brand-new grady-white." the girl responded missing the look jj and john b shared. "everyone's out looking for it."

the group went back to john b's and were currently on the porch talking about scooter.
tanner was sitting on the arm rest of the chair jj was sitting in and flicking his lighter open and closed as pope ran in as if he was in a hurry.
"we didnt see anything. we dont know anything. we need to have complete and total amnesia." pope said as he sat down next to kie on the couch
tanner nodded. "this is off topic, but what time is it?" she asked. pope told her the time with a confused look on his face.
"i have an appointment on the mainland." tanner said as she gathered her stuff and walked towards the patio door.
"can one of you watch tigger please? if not i can ask heyward."
"we'll watch him." jj and kie said in unison. tanner nodded. "he's in your room jj. you both have a key to my house if you need anything." tanner sounded like a mom who's leaving her newborn baby for the first time.
"tanner. we've watched him before." kiara said as she got up and shoved tanner out the door. "don't be late to your appointment. we'll update you."
