"I don't think anyone would've guessed that it's not a normal thought" she said downing the rest of her coffee and then starting "I guess you could say I'm fuck up to the max but you know who isn't" she said laughing slightly she was at ease talking about this.
I just nodded and listened to the shirty hipster music in the background and then she stood up and looked at me.I got up and followed her out of the cafe .We walked in since just understanding and enjoying each other until she spoke up
"You know i complexity understand if you don't want to continue whatever is it that we have it makes sense if you're not emotionally ready for me it totally cool"I could tell by the way her voice broke at the end it wasn't cool
"Cat I'm not emotionally ready for anything but I like surprises so I think I might just stick around for a bit if that's okay with you" she looked a me and smiled shaking her head slightly . I looked at her again "you're a beautiful scar on a critical vein"I said she grabbed my hand as we walked into the subway "you're poetic as fuck Lucas you know that?" She said as we walked underground and into the filthy transport station.She wanted to show me her favorite record ship which was on the college part of town "the subways are so gross " she said clinging onto my arm and scooting closer to me as to avoid touching strangers.We took out our cards and got in then onto our train.We talked about quality bands and our sadness about the blink-182 break up And how greenday needs to start touring again and how contain was an amazing artist and how 90s grunge and pop punk formed the bases of the 90s by that time we had made in to the downtown district,She swung our hands back and forth and asked "what are we"I stopped and so did she "I'm slightly disgusted by the amount of cliche bullshit that just came out of your mouth " I say laughing "find luke hemmings the human skyscraper will you fucking go on a shitty half-assed date with i " she said laughing I started to blush I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks "ice never had a girl ask me out " i said she looked at me and said " I'm confident in my person and my femininity " she stated staring up at me "'yes,I Luke hemmings would love to go on a date with you" I said still blushing I just wasn't use to a girl taking charge.I gripped her small hand and went into the record shop.It smelled of teen spirit and the emo youth.my kind of place
She went to the far corner and started grabbing CDs explaining that she hadn't gone here in a while and perfected CDs over electronic music at the melt and she felt Tumblr opening them and using it.i do think she liked the whole stereotypical "soft grunge Tumblr" aesthetic .She went up and bought then I took her home.
