"I don't want to hurt anymore. I don't want to hurt you anymore." - Will, from the movie "Five Feet Apart."

After we got home Lily and I decided to watch a movie. I went to the kitchen to grab snacks while Lily chose the movie.

I walk into the living room and see that Lily has chosen "Five Feet Apart."

The film tells the story of Stella and Will, who meet while undergoing treatment in a hospital ward for cystic fibrosis patients. Stella is a smart and organized teenager who follows her treatment regimen meticulously, while Will is a rebellious artist who refuses to take his treatment seriously.

Despite their different personalities, they begin to fall for each other.

However, due to the nature of their illness, they must remain at least six feet apart from each other at all times to avoid cross-infection.

As their feelings for each other deepen, they struggle with the physical and emotional barriers that separate them.

Throughout the film, Stella and Will navigate the challenges of their illness and their forbidden love for each other.

They develop a deep connection as they share their hopes and fears for their futures, and they support each other through their struggles with their illness.

The film explores themes of love, loss, and the power of human connection, and it is a touching portrayal of the challenges faced by those living with cystic fibrosis.

After our heart-wrenching movie experience, Lily and I sat in silence for a few moments, letting the emotions of the movie settle. I looked over at her and saw tears still streaming down her face. "Are you okay?" I asked, concerned. She nodded, wiping away her tears with the back of her hand. "That was a really sad movie," she said softly.

I agreed. "It was. But it was also really beautiful, don't you think?"

Lily nodded again. "Yeah, it was. I'm glad we watched it."

I smiled at her. "Me too. It's nice to have a good cry sometimes, you know?"

Lily laughed lightly. "Yeah, I guess it is. But I don't want to cry anymore tonight. Do you want to watch something else?"

I shook my head. "No, I'm good. I think I'm just going to go to bed. It's been a long day."

Lily nodded in understanding. "Okay, goodnight Nora."

"Goodnight Lily," I replied, heading off to my room.

As I lay in bed, I couldn't help but think about Luca. He had surprised me tonight, showing a side of himself that I had never seen before. I had always assumed he was just another cocky jock, but he was so much more than that. I was starting to see why William had urged me to give him a chance.

But could I really do that? Could I let go of my pride and my hurt feelings and give Luca another chance? I wasn't sure. It was a risk, and I wasn't sure if I was ready to take it.

The next morning, Lily and I met up for breakfast before our classes. As we sat down at our usual table in the cafeteria, Lily couldn't contain her excitement any longer. "Guess what?" she said, practically bouncing in her seat.

"What?" I asked, smiling at her enthusiasm.

"I have a date with William on Wednesday!" she exclaimed.

I grinned, genuinely happy for her. "That's amazing, Lily! I'm so happy for you."

Lily blushed. "Thanks, Nora. I'm really nervous, though. I've never been on a real date before."

I put my hand on hers, offering her some comfort. "Don't worry, you'll be great. And I'm sure William will think so too."

Lily smiled at me gratefully, and we finished our breakfast in a comfortable silence. As we headed off to our first class, I couldn't help but think about Luca again. I wondered if he had any interest in me, or if I was just another girl to him. I pushed those thoughts aside, reminding myself that I wasn't ready to take that risk yet.

The day passed by quickly, and before I knew it, it was time for dinner. Lily and I had planned to eat at the cafeteria tonight, so we met up and got in line together. As we filled our plates with food, I saw Luca and William sitting at a table across the room. My heart skipped a beat as Luca caught my eye and smiled at me. I smiled back, feeling a warmth spread through me.

As Lily and I sat down at our own table, I couldn't help but steal glances at Luca. He was laughing and joking with William, and it was clear that they were good friends. But there was something in the way he looked at me that made my heart race.

After dinner, Lily and I headed back to our dorm room. I could tell that she was still giddy with excitement about her date with William, and I was happy to listen to her talk about it for as long as she wanted.
