"Larissa?" Wednesday called out to the dark living room. She had no idea what time it was, but she knew that her head was killing her. "Hello?" She reached a hand to her head, wincing when she turned on the lamp in the living room.

She couldn't hear anything or anyone in the apartment. Sighing, she went to the kitchen, reaching for the high cupboard that she knew the shapeshifter put in the instant coffee. Knowing she was already defeated, she started climbing up onto the countertop, hoping that Weems wouldn't come in at that moment. The glorious sight of the metal tin they kept the instant coffee in came into view, and Wednesday was quick to grab it from the top shelf.

Coffee tin in hand, the teenager gripped onto the shelf as she climbed down, misjudging where she placed her foot and stumbling backwards. With flailing arms, Wednesday grabbed onto the closest thing, which turned out to be the handle to the cutlery drawer. It succeeded in slowing down her fall, but she still ended up on her back.

Upon falling, she accidentally dropped the sole reason for her climb, the coffee tin rolling across the floor. Holding her breath, Wednesday watched as it rolled to a halt and the lid popped off, coffee powder spilling out everywhere.

"Damn it..." Wednesday grumbled, picking herself up off the floor. Walking over to the contents that spilled to the marble floor, she used her hands to pick up the powder. After a few minutes of cleaning up the spill, she placed the container on the counter she was previously climbing on. Taking a spoon, the goth took a scoop to put into a mug.

"Well good morning to you, Wednesday." Weems said as she walked into the kitchen, towel around her neck. She watched in amusement as Wednesday's hand flew up, showering her with coffee powder. " Oh, good morning. How was your jog? " The woman said in a mocking monotone voice. "Good thing I needed a shower. Don't drink too- pft- much."

Wednesday rolled her eyes, getting ready to grab another scoop. But when the spoon hit the bottom, making a clanging sound, she looked down. The tin was empty, and she was not happy.

"Lars, do we have any more coffee?" She yelled, hoping that the woman had not yet gotten in the shower. But, alas, Weems was already shampooing herself, and Wednesday did not want to see that. "For fucks sake," The teenager decided to wait for her caregiver to be done and then beg to be taken to the Weathervane for her preferred quad over ice.

After what felt like an eternity, Wednesday heard the sound of the light switch and the fan turning off. She gave the shapeshifter a few minutes to get dressed before going to her room and knocking on the door.

"Come in!" Pushing open the door, Wednesday found the woman perched on the edge of her bed.

"Hey, Lars, do you think we could go to the Weathervane? You know, for some caregiver-...Wednesday time? Brunch?"

Looking down at her wrist, that was bare, Larissa raised an eyebrow, "It's half past a freckle, and class starts in an hour and a half. We don't have time to go to the cafe this morning."

Wednesday tilted her head, "The hell does that mean? Half past a freckle is not a usable time measurement."

"I could have said it's half past a monkey's arse a quarter to its balls, but that is a little too crass, wouldn't you agree?" Larissa giggled to herself, as she read the wall clock. "We can get groceries after the school day ends, okay?"

The goth stared at the woman, shock written on her face. "Um-Uh- Okay....?" She didn't understand what this woman was on about but apparently it has gone over her head. "I'm just going to get breakfast..." She pointed towards the kitchen again. "See you later..."
