Scratching at her head, Wednesday whined. The small bugs that feel on her coloring book crawling around. She needed to tell someone but didn't know how. She could tell her Mama but she was busy dealing with something in the nurse's office.

After about thirty minutes of trying to color but being distracted by the itching she decided to go to Enid's place. Maybe her mommy had something to make it stop.

When she reached the door, she knocked with her free hand. Soon the door opened to the red headed woman wearing a shower cap.

"Hey Wednesday, now's not a good time alright?" Thornhill smiled apologetically. "I'm treating Enid's and I's hair for lice."

"What's that?"

"Little bugs that suck your blood."

"Oh! Like fleas?"

Marilyn nodded, laughing at the fact that the girl only knew what they were because of Enid getting them in wolf form. Her laughing stopped abruptly when she took note of the way Wednesday was violently scratching at her head, her usually braided hair falling in waves around her shoulders. Before she could say something, she felt her phone vibrating in her back pocket.

"Heyyyyy, have you seen Wednesday? I haven't lost her or anything, but you know..."

"She's here. Anddd she's itching."

"Fuck."

Five minutes later, a very flustered Weems came bursting into the apartment without knocking. She instantly spotted her daughter sitting cross-legged in the middle of the hallway, scratching at her head with both hands. Wednesday didn't even seem to notice that her mother had arrived until the woman put a soft hand on her shoulder. She leapt up, a huge grin on her face.

"Mama! I have lice!"

Weems sucked in a breath through her teeth.

"I know. Yayyyy..." The little girl clapped her hands with joy, hugging her caregiver. Larissa swore she saw at least eight little buggers fall onto her expensive white cardigan. "Come on, let's take you home. I'm sure Marilyn has a lot on her hands."

"Does she have to go?" Enid asked as she rubbed her head with a towel.

"Yes." Both women said simultaneously. They looked at each other and smiled.

"But why?"

"You are getting a treatment and she needs one desperately." Marilyn told the blonde who pouted.

"Fine..."

Wednesday got picked up and carried out of the apartment. Weems sighed as she made their way to the nurses office.

As soon as they entered, the nurse rolled her eyes. "Of course, Wednesday is not immune to lice either. Why did I think she wasn't going to show up?"

"Ouch nurse, so harsh to her." Bianca laughed as she handed out bottles with the other volunteers.

"She destroyed the place last time, how could I not?"

The siren laughed, handing a bottle of the shampoo to Weems. The principal was busy fussing over her little in her arms who kept scratching at her scalp to care what her staff had to say.

"Thank you, Ms. Barclay. Be sure to get your service hours signed off." Larissa told her as she rushed out of the office and back to her living quarters.

"Mama! Itchy!" Wednesday complained as she was being put into the tub. The woman wet the girl's hair who sighed in relief.

"I know, baby. " Larissa pulled out the bottle and squeezed some into her hand. She started slowly massaging the shampoo into her littles hair, watching in amusement as the girl slowly sunk down into the water.
