"And, you stick the head in here..." Wednesday demonstrated, putting her dolls head in the unusable wooden guillotine Weems had bought for her. "And then, and then, then drop the string!"

Enid frowned.

"But the blade didn't fall?"

The pigtailed girl sighed deeply. "I know. Mama fixed it. She said it's "Wednesday-proof". Anyway, you try!"

Nodding, Enid slid her doll onto the contraption, sticking its head through the hole. She tugged on the string, imagining the blade falling. It wasn't quite as exciting as she'd hoped.

"Wednesday, this is boring. I'm thirsty!"

Wednesday jumped up rushing out of the room. What kind of hostess would she be if she didn't give her guest refreshments? Running up to Larissa, Wednesday tugged on the woman's blazer.

"Hmm?" Weems asked distractedly. She was replying to emails again. Wednesday tugged on her again, making her look away from the screen. "What do you need, Wednesday? Can't you see I'm busy?"

The goth smiled brightly, glad for the successful attention grabbing. "'Nid's tersty!"

Larissa pointed to the kitchen, "Get anything you want from the refrigerator, not my shelf."

"Okay." Wednesday rushed into the kitchen pulling open the double doors. Reaching up she took two jugs out, one of apple juice and one with squiggles hand written on it. The condensation has smudged the ink a bit but that didn't matter to her.

"Willa!" Enid called from the playroom. "What's taking so long?"

"Hold on a second!" The little replied, putting the apple juice on the counter. She grabbed two opaque bottles, carefully pouring some of the white liquid into her bottle, only spilling a little bit. "You want apple juice?"

Wednesday heard Enid shout an affirmative response, so she put down the milk and poured the apple juice into the second bottle. Shaking them, she put them down on the floor, putting the jugs back in the fridge.

"Coming!" She yelled, grabbing the bottles. It was a good job they had lids, else the liquid would have gone everywhere as Wednesday ran to the living room.

"Ooo, thank you." Before Wednesday could hand her blonde friend one of the bottles, Enid had taken it from her hand. She shrugged, guessing that it was the right one. Both of them sat down on the sofa together, taking off the lids and putting the rubber nipples in their mouths at the same time.

The pigtailed girl wrinkled her nose slightly as the overly sweet taste of apple juice filled her mouth, and she pouted. As she did so, she heard Enid gag next to her.

"I think I got yours..." Wednesday shook the bottle, the blonde who was physically turning green. "You don't look so good..."

Enid put a hand over her mouth, a wet cough sounding behind it. Wednesday tried to shove the juice at her friend to help but Enid was too distraught.

"Ew ew ew- I am not going to throw up-" Enid swallowed harshly, before gagging loudly.

Larissa came into the room in a rush after hearing the noise from the hall. "Wednesday? Are you okay, I heard a cough?" The woman made her way to her little but Wednesday shook her head pointing to the werewolf. The shapeshift turned her head to see Enid hunched over the lego bin. "Enid, dear? Oh no..."

Before she could grab the sick bowls she keeps stashed in the house, Enid threw up. Larissa sighed, not happy about the clean up that needs to happen. A whimper came from beside her.
