Watching as Enid skipped over to the water fountain, Wednesday decided that her friend could catch up later and started climbing up the jungle gym. Her hand-eye coordination was mediocre at best when she was little, and her foot slipped on one of the rope rungs but she managed to catch herself.

"Heck," She muttered, using one of the childish curse words her mother had taught her to use. Looking behind her, Wednesday checked to see if anyone had seen, which they didn't, before resuming her ascent.

Upon reaching the first level of the climbing frame, she crawled through the hole in the wall and stood up. She was short enough that she didn't have to crouch when in playgrounds, a superpower that Enid lacked.

"Willa? Are you up here?"

"Yesh," She said around the black pacifier in her mouth. "Come up!"

Quicker than Wednesday, Enid made her way to the goth who was spinning the tic tac toe game. "Do you wanna play with this?"

Wednesday nodded excitedly, spinning one of the bricks wildly. She giggled when it landed on the X, pointing at Enid to go next.

Spinning it at a normal pace, she moved the brick she chose to the O. This continued until the blonde won three rounds. Wednesday went to reset the board, but Enid's attention was grabbed by the arrival of the kids from the last time they were at the park.

"Uh oh, aren't those the kids who were here last time?" The blonde asked, gesturing at the group of 4-5 littles who all appeared to be older than them.

"Hmm... I dunno." Wednesday shrugged. "Play again?"

Keeping an eye on the group of kids, Enid played a couple more rounds with Wednesday until the younger little got bored of the game, wanting to do more climbing.

"Climb, 'Nid." She tugged on her friend's arm, pulling her over to the cargo net. "Up."

The werewolf eyed the net, estimating it to be at least three metres in height. She swallowed, deciding not to question Wednesday's choices.

"Okay, you go first! That way I can catch you if you fall..." The last part came out mumbled, and Wednesday thankfully didn't catch it. She started scaling the rope like a little spider monkey, all limbs.

"Hey!" The red headed girl screamed out, "You're that baby from last time!" She was at the second story of the equipment, staring down at the goth. Wednesday ignored her and kept climbing up. "Are you listening to me? I told you last time babies ain't allowed up here!" She closed her mouth to collect saliva, and spat down onto Wednesday. It hit her on the top of her head, making her stop.

"Wednesday... come on let's go to mommy-" Enid began but watched in horror as the girl leaned down and kicked Wednesday's fingers.

"St-Stop!" Wednesday cried, the rope digging into her digits painfully. The wetness on top of her head was already pissing her off enough. "Leave me alone, I wanna play!"

"Mommy!" Enid ran across the playground, kicking sand behind her. "Mommy! Mommy!"

Looking up, the two women stopped their conversation, the desperation in the girl's voice startling them out of their bubble.

"There's a girl on the climbing frame, an-and she's kicking W-Wednesday's fingers! She's being s-super mean, and she SPAT on herrr!" The last part of her sentence came out in a cross between a whine and a cry as she flung herself into Marilyn's lap. In a millisecond, Weems' heels were on the floor and she was scaling the ladder barefoot. She hit her head on the wall at the top but it didn't stop her as she half-crawled half-run through the tunnel.
