I picked Harumi up and put her over my shoulder as kept begging to have me put her down I did when I got to the room where the couch was and she got up then tackled me.
Harumi giggled as she tackled me, and we both fell onto the couch together. We laughed and wrestled for a few minutes, enjoying our time together. It was nice to have a break from our usual routines and just be silly siblings for a little while.
After a while, we both settled down, catching our breaths. Harumi snuggled up next to me, resting her head on my shoulder.
"Thanks for sticking up for me, Y/n," she said softly.
"Of course, Harumi," I replied, wrapping an arm around her. "That's what siblings are for, right?"
Harumi smiled, and we sat in comfortable silence for a while longer. It was moments like these that made me grateful for my family and the bond we shared.
That's when I heard glass shatter and quickly got up. "What was that!?" Harumi said scared.
