As we walked through the corridors of the bounty ship, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my friends' support. They had been there for me through everything, and I knew I could always count on them.
"Hey, guys," I said, stopping in the middle of the hallway. "Thank you for everything. I don't know what I would do without you guys."
Kai grinned. "That's what friends are for, buddy."
"We're just happy you're feeling better," Nya added.
Jay nodded, throwing an arm around my shoulders. "Yeah, and now we can get back to training and kicking some serpentine butt!"
We all laughed, and I felt a sense of warmth and comfort wash over me. But that soon ended when an alarm went off.
We all quickly turned and looked at each other, knowing that this meant trouble. Without hesitating, we immediately ran towards the source of the alarm.
As we got closer, we could see smoke rising from the direction of the training grounds. We quickened our pace, drawing our weapons as we approached.
Once we arrived, we saw a group of serpentine warriors attacking Zane, Cole, Misako, and Sensei G who had been training there and supervising. We knew that we had to act fast if we wanted to save our fellow ninjas.
"Focus on taking them out one by one!" Kai shouted, as he led the charge towards the serpentine warriors.
We all followed his lead, jumping and dodging attacks as we moved closer to the enemy. With our weapons in hand, we fought like our lives depended on it.
The battle was intense, but we were able to take down the serpentine warriors one by one. Soon, the training grounds were clear of any danger, and we were able to catch our breath.
As we took in the aftermath of the fight, I couldn't help but feel proud of my friends and myself. We had fought valiantly and had protected our friends.
"We did it," I said, panting for breath.
"We did," Jay replied, grinning. "And we'll do it again if we have to." Next thing I know Kai picked up Nya and put her over his shoulder. "Kai put me down!" Nya yelled.
"Kai you better listen to her!" Jay yelled as he chased after Kai. I looked at Cole and he just shrugged and went to the kitchen dragging Zane with him.
