Forbidden Love

Chapter 8

I wake up for my second day of classes around 7:30am. I notice that Eleanor has already gone down to the Great Hall for breakfast. I swing my feet over the bed, placing them on the ground and walking over to the speaker on my vanity and turn it on. Still Wild by La Mar plays softly through the speakers as I walk back over to my bed and see a note on my bed side table. Assuming that it's from Eleanor, I examine it before reading the content inside. 

There's an emerald green ribbon tied around the note. I continue to pull the ribbon until it completely detaches from the note. As I open it, something shiny falls from within the covering onto my bed. I pick it up to examine what it is. 

Draco's snake ring. The ring he removed from his hand and placed in his pocket as we were walking to the Slytherin Common Room on the first night, to be exact. 

The note reads:

I hope I didn't scare you away last night. You just have this effect on me, Eden.

Surprised at the fact he called me by my first name, I continue reading.

I could tell you what I want to do to you.. or I could just show you. To accept my proposal, please wear my snake ring for me. I remembered how much you liked it 2 days ago when we first met, so I'd like you to wear it for me. -Dray

My cheeks become flushed and there's a pool of heat lingering low in my stomach. I decide to accept his proposal, so I place the ring on my left middle finger. 

Friends with benefits never sounded better to me..

I tuck the note into my jewelry box and begin getting dressed into my house robes. Afterward, I head to the lavatory to wash my face, brush my hair and my teeth. I pull my hair into a half up-half down look and secure it with the emerald green ribbon Draco had tied around the note he left me. I grab my textbooks and my wand and make my way to the Great Hall for breakfast. 

As I'm walking down the hall, there is no one in sight. I trip over what looks like a Potions textbook and I bend down to pick it up so that I can return it to its rightful owner, but just as I stand back up, a pair of hands grab me and pull me into a hidden corridor.

Draco.

He grabs my ass and squeezes tightly. He attaches his lips to my collar bone and proceeds to kiss my neck until I let out a soft moan.

"You look beautiful in this light, Haynes." He whispers in my ear.

I push his face away from me and blush hard.

"I could've Flipendo'ed your ass down this hallway, Malfoy!!" I yell out before he places his hand over my mouth. 

He looks at me in an irritating manner and pushes me into the wall behind me, placing one last kiss in the crevice of my neck. That's enough for me to rip my clothes off for him right now and reveal my seductive lingerie underneath my uniform. He places his hand on my lower back while the other rests underneath my ass. He continues kissing me roughly while I palm his already hard cock through his trousers. "Fuck, Eden. I want your mouth so bad right now.." He whispers underneath his breath. 

I stop to look up at his eyes and place a kiss on his cheek. "While I'm already liking our little arrangement, I am starving." He nods and says, "I'll meet up with you later, gorgeous."

As he's walking away he turns around and shouts "beautiful ribbon, by the way.. and I'm liking the ring too" before he winks and walks around the corner and out of my sight.

I laugh and finally make my way into the Great Hall to enjoy a distraction free breakfast.

I find a seat next to Ramona and Eleanor and cheerfully say good morning.

"Good morning, Eden. How'd you sleep?" Ramona asks.

"Like a fucking rock." I reply, taking a bite of my buttered croissant and attempt to readjust myself in my seat. They both laugh at my response. 

A few minutes pass and Eleanor nudges my arm signaling that it's time for our first class. I chug the rest of my pumpkin juice, grab my textbooks, and follow the rest of the students out of the Great Hall to Potions.
