Forbidden Love

Chapter 24

Eden's POV:

Potions class has ended for today so I make my way to Transfiguration. I feel so depressed for some reason without Draco being here to taunt me in the halls, in the common room, or during classes.

I walk into Transfiguration and take a seat. Theo walks in behind me and sits down at the table in front of me. He pulls out his textbook from his bag and lays it on the table, opening it. I tap on Theo's right shoulder and he turns around.

"Hey beautiful," he says, acknowledging my presence with a smile.

I smile back at him before replying. "Still want to study after this?" 

He says hey to his friend Hayden that sits next to him in Transfiguration and says, "I would love nothing more, sweetheart. Would you want to come to my room, or should we go to yours? I mean we could study in the common room or library if you want, but it's always too distracting for me."

"We can study in your room since Blaise will be in the infirmary for a couple of days," I suggest. Blaise must've eaten something that made him feel ill. After breakfast he kind of disappeared and Theo later found out that he was in the infirmary seeking treatment. 

"Sounds like a plan.. My room is next to Mattheo and Draco's. I normally take a shower after this class since I'm done for the day, so just do what you need to do and come by around 1:30," he requests. 

I smile at him and say okay as our class begins. We learn about the Vanishing spell in today's class. As always, I am completely lost, but I work hard to try my best anyways. Professor McGonagall instructs for about thirty-five minutes before assigning us study notes for the rest of class. I try focusing on my notes and the guides I've been given, but I'm instantly distracted by Theo's presence. As he's taking his notes and studying, he's goofing around with his class partner, Hayden. I catch a glimpse of him smiling really big and a rush of lust comes over me.

I keep my thoughts from wandering any further as I finish up my notes. Professor McGonagall announces that she's pleased with our class today and that she's allowing us to leave class ten minutes early. Shocker. Everyone cheers and tells her thank you, and she tells us not to get used to it because it won't happen often.

I pack my things and proceed to exit the classroom before making my way back to the Slytherin common room when I spot Fred and George from down the hall. They're staring right at me and smirking. They motion for me to come over so I run over to them. 

"Darling.. You look so beautiful today! But it's not like you don't look this good everyday," Fred compliments me. George places his hand on my lower back and leans down to plant a kiss on my cheek. 

"Hi boys. I'd love to stay and chat but I have to get going. I'm meeting with a tutor for Transfiguration class," I say nervously.

"We'll catch up with you later then, love," George says as he grabs Fred's shoulder to walk away.

 I turn on my heel and quickly make my way back to my room before meeting Theo back at his room to study. 

When I enter my room, I see that my balcony door is still open from last night. Weird.. I thought I closed it this morning. I walk over to close it once again when I see a note tied to the end of one of the curtains. I pick it up to open it and begin reading.

"I will love you as long as the sun burns in the sky, as long as the winter snow is white, and as long as the moon shines into the dark night. You will forever be my always, my love. -Malfoy" 

I stop dead in my place and a tear falls from my eye. How is it that I've come to care for him so much in just a few short days? I only wish he were here with me now..
