We approach the courtyard and the guys finally catch up to me and begin making light conversation.

"Let's take her to the Forbidden Forest, mate," Theo suggests to Draco over my shoulder.

"Okay. What is so great about the Forbidden Forest," I ask them intrusively throwing my hands up in confusion, but then I remember back to my conversation with Draco and Mattheo last night - Centaurs..

"Eden.. It's forbidden!" Theo replies throwing his arms out with an obvious tone.

"Okay, jeez. After you princess," I wink, mocking him.

We make our way down the cobblestone and dirt pathways leading away from the castle and come to a halt just outside the forest entrance to regroup.

"Why don't we play a friendly game of Hide and Seek?" Theo suggests, emphasizing the word friendly.

The guys all look at him, confusion written on their faces before Theo explains the rules and the objective of the game, seeing how they've clearly never played the game before.

"It's a game that muggles play. I used to play it with my little cousins. The whole point of the game is to seek one person or many people out - depending on how you want to play. One or more people count to a specific number and then they hunt those that are hiding," he explains menacingly.

"I'm down, anyone else?" I ask looking around the group.

Mattheo chimes in, making an additional suggestion to the game as he licks his lips."What if Eden hides and we all try to find her?"

I stand there confused because that's really not the point of the game, but they reassure me that they'll find me quickly, and I instantly put my competitive face on.

"Alright pussies," I say insisting that I'm ready for whatever is about to happen.

Theo stands in front of me and leans down to whisper privately in my ear. "Good luck, sweet heart." My heart rate begins to quicken with each beat in my chest and I can feel the redness over taking my face.

"Run." He growls, pulling away from me, a devilish smile plastered all over his face.

I take off, making an immediate left, looking around for a tree or a shrub to shove myself in, but to my dismay, I see absolutely nothing. Yes, there are trees in the forest, but their branches are at least fifty feet off the ground and I can't fucking jump, or climb that high for that matter. I keep running and listen to the sound of Theo counting from at least half a mile behind me.

Why the hell do I feel like I'm being hunted right now? It's making me sick thinking about running into the Forbidden Forest, alone.

"38.. 39.. 40.. 41.." I quickly become short of breath but I can't let them find me easily.

I see a small opening in an embankment next to a rather tall pine tree. The opening is just the right size for me to fit into so I crouch down and crawl into the crevice of the tree's roots. I try to slow my breathing down and relax so that the sounds of my breath don't travel throughout the forest.

"89.. 90.. 91.. 92.." A few seconds more, I hear Theo stop counting. Then, I feel the ground start to shake. They're running. I stay very quiet so I can win this fucking game against them.

I hear someone approach the top of the embankment above me.

"Where did that little beauty go?" Theo.
