Draco's POV:

I wake up from the short nap I took upon driving back at the Manor.

"Draco, breakfast!" I hear my mother knock on my door and call from the other side.

I get up, brush my teeth in my bathroom connected to my dark bedroom, and put on the black suit my father strictly insists on me wearing all the fucking time.

I enter the dining room to see my father and mother already seated and enjoying their meals. "Draco," my father scowls, replacing good morning with my name.

"Father," I harshly reply, scowling at him.

"I trust you slept well, darling," my mother interrupts, trying to diffuse the tension between my father and me. I nod before taking a bite of my pastry.

"We called you here to discuss how school is going," my father intrudes on my mother's light conversation with me.

"It's only the first few days, father."  He raises an eyebrow at me, and I straiten my posture. Fuck, he makes my skin crawl.

"It's going well for what it's worth, I guess. I met a girl on the train ride to school."

My mother smiles brightly."What? A girl? Tell us all about her!" She requests, excitingly.

"She's quite beautiful actually. She has black hair, a beautiful physique, and her personality is something I wish I'd known sooner.." I announce, knowing my mother is the only one listening.

My mother goes to speak but my father interrupts her once again.

"This girl.. could be a distraction to you, Draco. What might he name be?" I choose not to reply right away, but I know if I keep him waiting that things will only begin to spiral between the two of us. I hate when my mother uses us fighting. "Eden.. Eden Haynes."

My father slams his utensils down and looks at me with so much anger in his eyes that it could pour down the front of his face. My mother stays quiet and cowers down from my father's reaction.

"Eden.. Haynes?" He raises his eyebrow in question.

I stay quiet for a moment before answering him. "Is there a problem?"

My father shakes his head and looks down into his bowl, laughing. My heart begins racing as I wait for his response.

"You do know who that girl's father was, right?"

"No. What do you mean by 'was'?" He looks up to face me.

"Eden's father was William Haynes. He was a death eater before Lord Voldemort murdered him. William tried to leave his army to run off and be a 'good doer'. *he scoffs as he straightens his tie in mockery against William* Pity waste if you ask me. He was one of the most evil people in his army. William wanted out, Lord Voldemort found him to be too resourceful and he also knew way too much." I swallow hard and my heart begins to beat faster as he continues with his explanation.

"So he killed him. He was not much of a man once Lord Voldemort decided to do away with him, cowering down the way he did." He lets out an evil laugh as he finishes his story.

I don't respond to what he's just told me and my mother keeps her head low for the remainder of the time.

"I forbid you to fraternize with that girl, Draco. Do you understand me?" He demands.

I look down at the table and instantly think about Eden.. Her long black hair, her perfect body, the way she looks when she smiles. I can't help but want to be around her all the time. How am I possibly going to stay away from her after all we've been through these last few days? She is the first person I've let myself go with. This is not going to be easy for me.. but I know why my father forbids it. If Voldemort finds out how close I am with her, he'll kill her. Especially because of who her father was.. I couldn't live with myself if that happened, and I just know he'll make me watch it all play out..

I look up at my father and notice that he's still staring in my direction, waiting for the response that he wants.

"I understand, father.." I finally speak up.

"After breakfast, we're going to visit Bellatrix for a little while. Go on upstairs and pack your belongings. Once you're finished, we're off, darling," my mother explains.

I quickly finish breakfast and go up to my bedroom to pack some things to take back to school with me before we travel to my aunt's. I don't really know why they're taking me with them, considering I have school and that seems to be the most important thing to my father right now, but I'm not really in a position to argue with him right now, nor will I ever be, I guess.

The atmosphere around me is going to shift completely when I return to school later tonight.. I have to call Mattheo to make sure he watches after Eden closely from now on.
