Yuna adjusted her glasses nervously as she stepped into the unfamiliar hallways of her new school. It was a sea of buzzing conversations and fashionable outfits, and she couldn't help but feel out of place. Her eyes scanned the crowd, searching for a friendly face or a quiet corner to retreat to.

That's when she saw him.

Jungkook stood near the lockers, surrounded by an aura of rebellion and allure. His disheveled hair, leather jacket, and confident smirk made him the epitome of the school's bad boy persona. Yuna couldn't tear her gaze away from him; she was both intrigued and intimidated by his presence.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she watched him, not realizing that he had noticed her too. Jungkook's eyes met Yuna's, and a flicker of curiosity flashed across his face before he turned his attention elsewhere. Yuna's heart sank, assuming that she had already been forgotten.

But fate had a different plan.

During lunch break, Yuna found herself sitting alone at a corner table in the cafeteria, engrossed in her favorite book. She jumped when she heard a voice interrupt her solitude.

"Is this seat taken?"

She looked up and saw Jungkook standing before her, his signature smirk playing on his lips. Yuna blinked in surprise before shaking her head.

"No, it's free," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook took a seat across from her, his eyes scanning her face intently. "You're the new girl, right? Yuna?"

Yuna's heart skipped a beat as she nodded. "Yeah, that's me. How did you know?"

He shrugged casually. "Word travels fast in this place. I'm Jungkook."

"I know," Yuna admitted, feeling a touch of embarrassment. "I've seen you around."

Jungkook chuckled, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine. "Is that so? Well, I guess I've made quite the impression then."

A blush crept up Yuna's cheeks, but she quickly diverted the conversation. "So, what brings you here? Don't you usually hang out with your friends?"

Jungkook leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Friends come and go. Sometimes, it's nice to meet new people."

Yuna's heart fluttered at his words, hoping that maybe there was a chance for her to be more than just another passing face in Jungkook's life.

As days turned into weeks, Yuna and Jungkook began to spend more time together. They would share conversations during lunch breaks, study together in the library, and occasionally walk home side by side. Yuna cherished those moments, feeling herself falling harder for Jungkook with each passing day.

However, there was a lingering uneasiness in her heart.

It was during a school event when Yuna first heard whispers about Jimin, Jungkook's ex. People spoke of him with a mix of reverence and regret, labeling him "The one that got away." Yuna couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding, as if there was a shadow from Jungkook's past that threatened to invade their budding relationship.

One day, as Yuna and Jungkook sat on a bench in the school courtyard, a familiar figure appeared in the distance. Jimin strutted confidently, his smile radiant as he approached them. Yuna felt a pang of jealousy, her insecurities rising to the surface.

"Hey, Kookie!" Jimin called out, his voice laced with familiarity.

Jungkook's face lit up at the sight of his ex, and Yuna couldn't help but notice the subtle change in his demeanor. His posture relaxed, and a mischievous twinkle danced in his eyes as he greeted Jimin.
