I came to Udaipur in the morning after a five hour drive. The work of the restaurant is complete and is ready for an opening in the next few days . It's afternoon by the time I am going to my room .
Now I know who is marrying my stepbrother , she is the younger sister of Madhav Raj Singh Ranawat who four years back started a startup software company all on his own his company is on the list of top ten software companies in India and has a way with technology. When my phone vibrated I took a leave from our conversation , it was Kakosa.
" Are you there at the hotel, we just left Jodhpur and will be there by evening. " He said . His nature is calm like an ocean with frequent outbursts as compared to his elder brother.
"Ok " I said and ended the call . The entire family will be hear by evening for the wedding before that I can make myself useful and reply to some emails.
The sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun. The sun is below the horizon now. The night sky was aglow with bright city lights. The pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky. I looked up at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity. I have been notified about the arrival of my family now it's about dam time to show my momentary presence.
I enter the sitting area of the hotel where my family is present. To my surprise they were not looking happy about the wedding , all looked stressed . My father is pacing the length of the room , his hair is a mess as if he was running his hand through his hair all day. Tears streaming down his wife's face.
The rest are busy on their phone maybe trying to call. I walked inside the room making my presence known, everyone 's acknowledged my presence and where back to their respective task as if I were the Invigilator and they were writing their board exams. I sat down beside Dadosa . When Kakosa said
