Sitting in your seat, you passed the time by making small talk with Himari, who sat atop your desk. The two of you, along with the whole class, waiting for your Hero Basic Training teacher.Aizawa didn't tell the class who it would be, which you found a bit odd. But, you chose to ignore it. Thinking it to be another one of his 'rational deceptions' like yesterday, which you were still salty about.
Quietly humming a small tune, you set your eyes on the heterochromatic boy beside you. Him writing down something unknown in his notes. You weren't in the middle of a lesson, so you presumed it to be something from one of the other classes earlier in the day.
Sighing, you looked down at your empty desk. One thought had been playing through your mind the entire day.
'How am I gonna get information out of him?'
Thinking about your brief interaction yesterday, you remembered how you had run off after he gave you your water bottle. You didn't think about it then because you were in a rush, but now that you were thinking about it, you realised that might've been a bit rude.
Mentally hitting yourself, you realised that the blonde had already gone and was now talking to Bakugo. Seeing this, you decided now would be a good time to try talking to Todoroki.
Sighing, you turned your attention to the boy on your left. "Todoroki?"
Hearing a quiet hum leave him, he looked up at you. You taking the chance to speak with him. "I'm sorry if I was rude for rushing off yesterday, I just-" Pausing for a moment, you thought about your next words carefully.
"I had a ride waiting for me and didn't want to keep them waiting long." You spoke, telling the boy a white lie. Though, it was mostly truthful.
Shaking his head slightly, the boy set his gaze onto the blue carpet beneath us. "It's alright."
Looking at him in slight surprise, you were quick to respond. "Really? Oh, um-" Mentally cursing yourself for stuttering, you paused for a moment, nodding slowly. "Okay then."
Setting your gaze back on your desk, your hands played with one another. Curious as to whether he'd actually say something or just stay quiet like usual.
Furrowing his brows, Todoroki thought about yesterday. Wondering if now would be a good time to ask or not. Going back and fourth through the two choices he had, before finally settling on one.
Looking back up at you, Todoroki cleared his throat, successfully getting your attention as you looked up at him with a raised brow, curious as to what he'd say.
"Can I ask you something?" He spoke, his usual nonchalant voice clear as day.
Tilting your head to the side slightly, you nodded. "Sure."
"What's your qu-"
Hearing the classroom door open, you lifted your head up. Hoping it was the teacher so you could finally start the lesson.
"I am..." Hearing the classroom door open, along with a voice, the two of you turned your attention towards the class' entrance.
Keeping your eyes on the door, you hoped it was your teacher. You still wanted to talk to Todoroki, and it seemed he wanted to talk to you. But, you also wanted to start your very first Hero Basic Training class.
Big, bulky arms took hold of either side of the door as the man who you thought to be your teacher walked inside. "...coming through the door like a normal person."
Once the person came through the door, your eyes widened. Complete shock and surprise taking over you as the figure revealed themself to be...
"All Might!" Some of the class cheered in unison.
