I bite my lip as I pull back on the slingshot. I make sure I have the right aim before letting go. Watching it fly across the sky, I mentally cheer as it knocks down a building. Said building then crushes two out of the five total opponents.

I only have three chances left, and this is the final. There's no way I don't win. Unless my luck is just that shitty.

I pull back again before letting the object fly. I tap twice and watch as it splits into three smaller pieces, before it collides into the walls of another building. This time however, it doesn't go down, causing a frown to crawl up my face.

'Seriously? That should've gone down! Come on, I need to kill these bastards.'

I narrow my eyes as I reload the slingshot and aim. Then I repeat the same action again. Both times knock down the remaining buildings and kill the survivors.

A grin spreads across my face, and I can't help but do a little victory dance before I move onto the next level. Angry birds is fun. And rage inducing, but we don't talk about that.

"Hey, Y/N!"

Pressing pause, I look up to see a ray of sunshine ahead. Her purse hung from her shoulder as she ran towards me. She must've just gotten off the bus.

"Hey," I say, turning off my phone. I'll continue the game later.

"Am I late?" She asks.

"No," I turn my phone back on for a second. A minute later a small smile crawls up my face as I eye her. "You're right on time."

"Okay, good." She huffs. "I almost ran here in heels, but decided to give my feet a break," she jokes

"Good call. If you actually did wear heels, I would've called you stupid." I say plainly, and shove my phone into my jeans pocket.

"That's expected." The blonde shrugs.

"So, what do you wanna do first?" I ask.

A light hum comes from Himari while she takes a moment to think. Opening her purse, she pulls a piece of paper out, unfolds it, and stares it down for a minute.

"Not sure. On one hand, we could get started off with getting our nails done. On the other, we could go shopping. I'm fine with either one, but I can be a little indecisive." Himari chuckles.

"Let's get our nails done." I say. "That way, we won't have to worry about it later, since it'll probably take the most time anyway."

"Okay. Nail salon it is!" She cheers.

Himari puts the piece of paper back in her bag before she begins to skip her way to the salon. I can't help but to chuckle at her as I watch her skip into the mall, all giddy for the day.

I follow behind Himari as she leads the way. I don't go to the nail salon as often as she does, but her nails always look amazing. And she's a regular at the one we're going to right now, so I might as well. It's been awhile, anyway.

The mall was packed with people, but there was still enough space to move around without being shoved, so I didn't have to worry about losing the giddy blonde in the crowd.

The salon was a little far from the main entrance we'd come through, so it took about ten minutes for us to get there. Once we did, I would've passed it had it not been for Himari.

"We're here!" she says, staring up at the sign of the building.

"Kazashi's Fantabulous Nail Salon." I read. "Long name."

"You get used to it," she shrugs.

Pushing the door open, the slight jingle of a bell rang through the salon as the two of us enter the building.
