Walking beside Himari, the two of you looked for an empty table to eat at. Though, most tables were already taken due to the two of you getting to the cafeteria a little later than usual.

"So, who do you think'll win the sports festival this year?"

Shrugging, you didn't spare the blonde a glance as you kept scanning the cafeteria for an empty table. "My guess is as good as yours."

Rolling her eyes, slight sass could be heard in Himari's voice as she shot you a knowing look. "Theoretically, then."

Still not having a clue, you shrugged again. Receiving a groan of annoyance from the blonde in response.

"You have no imagination!" She whined, glancing up at the ceiling.

Rolling your eyes, you glanced at the blonde through your peripheral vision. "I have imagination. Just not for dumb things."

Scoffing, she pursed her lips. "That's a load of bullcrap. You do dumb things all the time!"

Glaring at the blonde, you bit the inside of your lip. "I don't! If anything, you do dumb shit."

"You shot a guy in the nuts once just to rub salt in the wound and ended up getting stabbed in the leg."

Raising a brow, you glanced at the girl on your right. "Your point?"

Not hearing footsteps beside you anymore, you turned around to see Himari standing a few feet away with a dumbfounded look on her face.

Confused, you waited for the blonde to come to her senses. The irritated look on her face telling you she wasn't exactly the happiest with your answer.

Seeing her eye twitch slightly, you watched as she opened her mouth to speak. Though, she quickly shook it off. "I- Y'know what? I'm not even gonna bother."

Having a feeling of what she was going to say, you rolled your eyes. "It was my first mission! And he deserved it."

Seeing how the blonde was still unimpressed with your answer, you quietly groaned. "And besides, it wasn't dumb. He was the last guy who needed to be taken down. He needed to be put in his place."

Remembering the drug-obsessed man, your expression changed to one of disgust. "I mean- kidnapping kids then using them as drug testers. It's sick. Karma was bound to get him."

Sighing, Himari lightly shook her head. "Well, I won't deny you're right about that. I'm still surprised he only got a 30 year prison sentence."

"The bastard should've gotten a life sentence." You grumbled. A mixed look of disgust and distaste visible on your face.

Humming, the blonde nodded. "That, I agree with you on. But, there wasn't really much we could do."

Scoffing, you bit your tongue. The slight stinging of pain bringing you a strange sense of comfort. "Regardless of that, he should've been given a life sentence! The jury in that courtroom were complete idiots!"

Shrugging, a small pout appeared on Himari's face. "Well, it's not like we can do much about it now. It was over a year ago."

Huffing in annoyance, you went to say something, though you were abruptly cut off by a familiar voice calling you and Himari's name.

"Hey, Chinatsu! L/N!"

Confused, the two of you glanced around the cafeteria. Quickly figuring out who the person, or people, who had called you were.

"Come sit with us!"

Eyeing the group of girls ahead, you glanced at Himari. Raising a brow as if to ask if you should go over there.
