A/N: It took me four days to write 2000 words but just a few hours to write a 2000 word fight scene 😐Is it concerning that I wrote all the fighting while listening to songs like Rewrite the Stars and Pretty Girl? Maybe? I have no clue.
Expect another chapter soon! (^‿^)
"We need to go. Now." You spoke quickly.
"There were alarms? Why didn't you tell me?!" Carlos yelled, completely ignoring what you'd said.
"Well, because I wanted us to fail. Obviously I didn't know!" You yelled, slamming your fist against the wall in frustration.
"I mean- what kind of person rigs an alarm system to some documents? How paranoid can you be?!" You huffed, more frustrated about the random alarm system than anything else.
"I don't know! Clearly Koreans think differently than most people!" Carlos yelled back.
"If your going to argue back, could you atleast make sense!"
"Whatever! Let's just go! We've gotta get out of here!" Carlos spoke quickly, grabbing your forearm and pulling you out of the room.
"Oh why didn't I think of that? Oh wait!" You bit sarcastically.
"Shut up, Y/N!" He growled through gritted teeth.
Rolling your eyes, you and Carlos ran through and down the hallways. You would've taken the vent out and went back up to the roof, but Carlos had already dragged the both of you out of the room. So, it was too late for that.
Running through a nearby hall, you almost tripped over your own two feet upon seeing five guys come out from the corner at the end of the hall holding pistols.
Just barely ducking under a bullet that almost hit you in the head, you abruptly turned to your left and went down the nearest hallway.
"How the hell did they know what floor we're on? I thought you knocked out the guards in the security camera room!" You asked, glancing at Carlos for a split-second.
"I did! And they know what floor we're on because the alarm in the filing room went off!" He yelled.
Huffing in annoyance, the two of you continued to run through and down the hallways.
You could just fight back. But with your new Hero-In-Training title, you didn't wanna risk getting on the news as a murderer and arsonist.
You'd committed tons of arson and a concerning amount of murders, but you've never made it onto the news before.
You were sneaky when it came to the police trying to find the "criminals" who'd committed the various crimes, and you've never been caught. But, as much as you'd hate to admit it, there's a first time for everything.
Turning around another corner, the two of you came to an abrupt stop upon seeing eleven guys at the end of it.
Dodging another two bullets, the two of you ran back and bolted it down a different hallway.
"Jesus, how many of these idiots are there?!" Carlos asked, taking a small glance behind him.
"A shit ton. Probably somewhere in the hundreds." You breathed, making sure to keep your eyes peeled for any sneaky bastards.
"It was a rhetorical question!" Carlos yelled, frustrated with both you and the current situation.
You and Carlos continued running down the hallways. And, annoyingly but also unsurprisingly, almost every turn you took had a crap ton of guys pop out from behind a corner.
