Thurston and I agree that we had to go through a couple of things we chose not to speak about. Things like when David and mom would know about me being pregnant, how regularly Thurston takes his meds and life after the baby would be born .

"Your doctor said you should be taking your meds twice a week ."

He groaned. "Great."

"Listen, we don't want things to hit a point where meds aren't enough."

I was not too sure of how things operated but that did not stop my mind from wondering . Just thinking about him being isolated in a padded room and restrained by a strait jacket sent chills down my spin. That's not how I wanted our future to look like.

"Your right , babe." He uses his thumb to stroke my thigh

I sighed. "What?" He asked

"Now we have to talk about something that I don't want to talk about." I said barely audible

"Wanita." He stated

"Yeaah, Wanita."

"Well, I think we have a good two months before we decide to say anything . Or before you start showing ."

"Yeah..." I sighed, "I already know what she's gonna say. 'You would think you learned from the last time..' "

"I'm sure she'll be supportive. Your mother isn't like that." Thurston reassured me kissing my forehead

Knock - Knock .

We both looked up at the door .

"Come in." I said

Mom peeked her head through the door, smiling and came inside .

"Why are you smiling so hard?" I mildly chuckled

She didn't utter a word, but continued to walked toward us. She sat down with me and Thurston , placing herself into Indian position.

"I have news." She glowed

"What type of news." Thurston asked

"Good I guess." She continued to cheese

"Well..." I grew impatient

"Close your eyes." She demanded

I looked at Thurston, who had his eyes closed. I then closed my eyes.

After three seconds she said, "Open."

"Oh shit." Thurston exclaimed

I opened my eyes and an object on the ground caught my attention. My eyes bugged out.

"I'm pregnant." She excitedly announced

I could see Thurston looking at me through the corner of his eyes, but I avoided his gaze.

"How far along are you?" I asked

"A month."

"Does my dad know ?"

"Nope ."

"Why did you wait for a month to tell us?" I asked

"There was just so much stuff going on and you know.."

I know what that 'you know' meant.

"Well, that's great." I smiled

She grabbed me and Thurston into a hug and jumped up.

"Don't tell David yet." She said before walking out

Thurston and I sat in silence for a while.

"You know.. This pregnancy test.. It looks like the one I bought you."

I peered over, feeling butterflies in my stomach every time I glanced at it.

"She could have bought the same test." I mumbled

"Well this just makes everything better." Thurston sarcastically said

I looked at him with a dropped face. Because more headaches was so much better.
