The following day

Tiana and Carmen meticulously went through each item, ensuring that nothing was left unpacked or out of place. They took their time, making sure everything looked perfect and felt like home. After finishing up unpacking, Tiana and Carmen sat down on the couch in the living room, exhausted but content with their progress. Tiana looked around the room, her eyes scanning the walls adorned with her favorite photographs and artwork. This new environment, this place she would now call home, held a significance that resonated deep within her.

The decision to make this move had been a pivotal one for Tiana. It wasn't just about physical relocation; it represented a turning point in her life. The past had been filled with uncertainty, restlessness, and a yearning for something more. But now, as she stood in this room, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. Tiana's heart swelled with gratitude for the circumstances that brought her to this point.

"It's starting to feel real now," she said, letting out a small sigh.

Carmen nodded in agreement, "It definitely is. I can't believe you're really here."

Tiana smiled, "Me either. But I'm excited for what's to come."

Carmen relaxed into the soft cushions of the couch and glanced over at Tiana with a small smile. "So, what's on the agenda for tomorrow?" she asked, genuinely interested.

Tiana shifted her attention to her friend and pulled out a small notebook from her bag. "Well," she began, "I've made a list of things I want to accomplish. First, I'm planning to hit the gym. The condo has a nice one, and I want to continue my workout routine."

Carmen nodded, impressed by Tiana's commitment to keeping up with her routine. "That's great. And what else?"

"Next, I want to spend some time mentally preparing for my first day at the clinic on Monday," Tiana continued, flipping through the pages of her notebook. "I've been reviewing old notes and brushing up on my skills, but I still feel a bit nervous."

Carmen leaned forward, offering her support. "Don't worry, Tiana. You've got this. And I'll be here to help you every step of the way."

Tiana smiled gratefully, feeling lucky to have such a supportive friend. "Thanks, Carmen. I really appreciate it. I don't know what I would do without you."

"Fortunately for you, you won't ever have to find out what life is like without me," Carmen said playfully, pulling Tiana into a warm embrace.

Carmen couldn't resist the burning curiosity that had been nagging at her since she arrived earlier that morning. "So, Tia, what do you think about Clovel?"

"One, he's quite the handsome man. Two, you and Desmond weren't exactly subtle about trying to push us together all night," Tiana replied with a laugh as she hugged her friend back. "And three, there's just something about him. He's sweet and funny and easy to talk to," Tiana said as she pulled away from the hug.
