*THE NEXT DAY*

*LOWER DECK - WEDDING CRUISE - TOKYO BAY*

The thought of dressing up had once filled me with anticipation, but the reality of the event was a much different experience altogether.

The ship's décor, the chatter of other guests, and the fact that I might run into George Taylor all contributed to an overwhelming sense of pressure and unease.

I couldn't shake the feeling that I was out of place, a mere outsider looking in on a world I couldn't fully comprehend.

Hell, it's not even my wedding, anyway... So why am I the one getting so nervous?

I hope on my actual wedding day I'll be more calm, but that day won't come for a long time yet.

...If it ever comes.

That's if anyone would have me.

As I stepped onto the spacious deck of the cruise ship, I was immediately struck by the stunning view of Tokyo Bay. With the wind whipping through my hair and the sun glinting off the water, it felt like we were floating on a sea of crystals.

The girls were all dressed to the nines, looking absolutely stunning in their elegant gowns and high heels. They struck quite the formidable sight as we made our way towards the party, heads held high, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at accompanying such a fashionable group of ladies.

As we boarded the ship and settled into our seats, I couldn't help but marvel at the luxurious accommodations and the delicious (at least I assume) champagne soon to be flowing freely. And as the ship set sail, I knew that we were in for a day to remember, with the sights and sounds of Tokyo Bay as our backdrop.

Despite my own nervousness, it was clear that the girls were filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation. They stood at the railings, chatting and giggling, occasionally pointing out interesting landmarks or admiring the gorgeous views.

As I watched them, I couldn't help but feel a tingle of envy. Here I was, filled with anxiety, while they were able to fully enjoy the moment and each other's company. It was a humbling experience, and it only served to remind me of how much I still had to learn about friendship, and about myself.
