24. Crazy in Love?

Arini's pov

It's 3:45 ..crap crap I'm 30 minutes late...Shrey must be angry. Is he even waiting? I was running to the entrance using all my energy. I hope he is waiting for me.

And a smile found way to my lips as I saw Shrey. I ran in front of them and breathing heavily I said, " Hi... I'm sorry.. I'm late. " I said looking at shrey.

He looked at me and scanned me from head to toe, then again fixed his eyes on my face. He took out his bottle and gave me " Drink this" He muttered lowly.

My grin became wider seeing his caring side for me. I didn't waste a moment and finished the water.

" Let's go. " I wrap my hand around his arm and started walking. We were walking.... walking and walking... It was so silent. Today I too didn't start the conversation. I was happy enjoying the walk with him silently. Smile wasn't leaving my face even for a moment.

I wanted to know if he is smiling too or not so I looked at his face through the corner of my eyes. He looked like he was thinking something, like he is dipped in some thoughts. What happened to him? What is he thinking?

I thought for a moment but couldn't get any conclusion so I started a random chat.

" Bolo aj kya breakfast kiya? " I waited for his answer but it didn't come.

( tell me what did eat in breakfast today?)

I pulled his wrist to get the attention, " Hey hey hey. Look at me. I'm here " He startled at first as if he didn't know I was here.

" Shrey what are you thinking? "

" N.. Nothing.. How is your college going? " He asked me instead of giving the answer of my previous questions. He didn't listen to them I know.

" Fabulous because you're here. It's totally my dream college life" I said the truth and fixed my eyes on his face to see the expression keenly.

Shrey gulped and kept his hard face there. Ughhhh... When I will be able to break it.

" How many friends do you have? " He again asked.

" Bohot sare actually... Everyone seems good here"

" They seem good only but aren't good. " He whispered. What is he thinking today?

I stopped walking and so as Shrey. He looked at being confused. " What are you thinking today Shrey? Don't say nothing, cause I know there's something "

Just as I questioned him, he too didn't wait to spill it.

" I saw you with Karan today. Why was he doing lunch with you? " Came his straight question.

" That boy.. Karan.. He changed. "

" Changed? " Shrey frowned.

I nodded my head saying " He said sorry.. Not for once, for multiple times. "

But my Shrey looked so restless. " Arini I told you ki usse dur rehna. Why didn't you listen to me? He is not good Arini"

( Arini I told you to stay away from him)

" He came like that. I couldn't avoid. "

Shrey was about to open his mouth again to say something in against but I put my finger there " Shh shh.. Don't worry. You worry too much. I know he did bad but said sorry too. Now let's not think about him. Please please please " I gave him my puppy eyes but Shrey harshly removed my finger from his lips and starts walking without me.
