This is some poetry Eleanor wrote the day she got home from hanging out with Tom.
(BASED ON BOOK 1 CHAPTER 1)

I get it, she's kind, she's smart, she's pretty, she's so fucking pretty.

But I cant help it and she doesn't deserve me.

She doesn't need me here, liking you.

She doesn't need that stress, that jealousy.

So she will never know and nether will you.

I like you, but your taken and I hate it but I can't help it.

It's comforting, I guess.

This thought that I will never have you, can never have you.

There's no hope for me to cling to, no disappointment in the end.

Because I know what I got into.

Liking the boy who has a girlfriend.
