CHIARA

"Wakey, wakey!" My husband's annoying, deep and smooth voice cut through my sleep, waking me up.

I groaned. "Go away."

"Get up, we have to leave for our honeymoon."

Honeymoon? Yeah, no shit. "Not a good time to joke, Eeel."

"I am not joking, little hellion. We have to go to Italy for our honeymoon and I would like to stick to my schedule, which you are currently disturbing."

"Funny. We will talk about improving your sense of humour once I wake up. Now, get lost."

Then a pillow hit me on my face directly, hard enough to make my nose sting.

My eyes snapped open and focused on Ezekiel's face hovering over mine. "What the fuck?"

"I said. Get. Up."

"You are serious about the honeymoon?" I asked, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes and sitting up straight.

"Very."

"Whose idea was it?"

He sighed, stretching his arms up making his t-shirt ride up, revealing a flash of his v-line which caused heat to rise to my cheeks and I averted my eyes.

"Our fathers. I already had to go to Italy to attend an important event and they both thought that it would be a great idea to bring you along." The exasperation in his tone matched mine.

Our fathers love to play matchmaker. They are delusional to think that sending us on a honeymoon will result in something.

But it's been so long since I went to Italy and it's a beautiful place which I wouldn't mind exploring again.

"Will you take me out to explore?" I asked him, making sure that he didn't end up leaving me alone there and going to work.

He shrugged. "Whatever you want. I only have to attend one event to which you will accompany me other than that I will be free most probably except for a meeting or two."

"Oh." I didn't expect him to agree so easily.

"Now, hurry up and pack your bags."

"Fine, fine, Mr Grumpy." I got off the bed and headed in the direction of the bathroom.

"Come down for breakfast once you are done." He told me and walked away.

.
.
.

"What on earth are you doing?" Ezekiel's sharp voice echoed in the room.

I turned my head to him as he stood at the entrance of the room, his brows furrowed in confusion.

In my hurry to pack, I had completely forgotten about the breakfast. I glanced down at the trolley suitcase that I had placed on the bed as I stuffed it with my clothes and then back at him. "What's wrong?"

He shook his head slightly and stepped further inside, pursing his lips as he stared at my suitcase. "Is that the way to pack your clothes?"

"You were the one who told me to hurry. How am I supposed to pack everything so quickly? Why didn't you even inform me about it last night?"

He didn't say anything and his lips pursed further as he pushed me away and emptied my suitcase.

"Hey." I tried to take it back from him but he made me halt with a single glare.

He picked up one of my t-shirts and I watched him in awe as he neatly folded it and placed it inside the suitcase.

Oh. He is packing for me...?
