chapter 5. Why so protective all of the sudden?

Tubbo's pov*

I gotta go! I gotta get away from him! "Oooh beee!" He yelled behind me playfully. "Where can I go?... The park!" I thought as I quickly sprinted in the direction of the park. When I made it there I accidentally ran into someone.

"Oh I'm sorry are you ok?" I asked. "Yeah I'm good, though you should probably watch where you are going." He suggested. I nodded and tried to continue walking. I got tugged back by my hand.

"Hey what's your name?" He asked. "Tubbo, yours?" I asked back. "Stephen." He answered... He still hadn't let go of my hand. "Can you let go please?" I asked. "Oh yeah, uh sorry!" He responded quickly.

Ranboo came out of nowhere and hugged me from behind pulling me close to him as he rested his chin on my head. "Who's this?" He asked. "Oh uh this i-" I got cut off. "Stephen, my name is Stephen." He said.

"Mhm... Ok..." Ranboo said tightly holding me against his body.

"Is he getting protective over me?" I asked myself. I looked up at him and smiled down at me. "C'mon bee, I think it's time we go home." He said, he let me go and grabbed my hand and dragged me away.

"Were you getting jealous back there?" I asked. He looked like he had seen a ghost. "What? No! You're crazy.. Me jealous? Never!" He defended. "Not what I saw." I playfully teased. "Ok fine!.. I got a little bit jealous, so what? It's not like I have a crush on you or something.."

"Why do you bring that up all of the sudden? I didn't say you had a crush, you just ratted yourself out." I teased again. He started blushing and tried to hide his face. "I'm just teasing! Damn I guess you do have that crush after all." "No- I don't!" He said. "Yes you do!" I pushed. "No I don't!" He persisted.

He hummed softly as he looked down and wrapped his tail around his leg. "It's ok boo." I said comfortingly as I squeezed his hand. "I don't have a crush.." He mumbled. "Yeah yeah, whatever you say. You're the one who didn't pull away from the kiss." I teased again. "Oh my god will you stop bringing that up?! It was Tommy's fault we discussed this already!"

I laughed as I wrapped my arm around his waist. "How are you so tall but so soft at the same time?" I asked as I leaned against him. "Maybe because I'm wearing a hoodie?" He said. I shook my head. "No, you were this soft yesterday too and you weren't wearing a hoodie." I said. I closed my eyes and hugged him.

"Ha, you've fallen for my trap!" He said as he picked me up. "I like this trap though, it's a soft trap. It makes me feel tired." I said. "You can't go to sleep yet though! We still have to get to my house and do our homework!" He said. I ignored him and kept my eyes closed.

"Bee come on!" He said. "No!" I said back. He sighed and continued to walk to his house. Even though it doesn't seem like it I'm glad that he "kidnaps" me, I mean I don't like being at home. Too much chaos and arguments. It messes with my mind a lot.

I started to doze off but I could still hear what he was saying, he started to think out loud. "Damn it he read me like a book a few minutes ago. I think I do have crush.. But I don't think I can tell him yet, one day though."

I was right? He really does like me? Now I really do have a chance but I'm not going to tell him yet, it's too early in the friendship.
