Monza, Italy; October 22, 2027

EARLY in the morning, Mattia Bottolo and Ran Takahashi go to the nearest boutique in Monza.

"Bro, you're going to wear a dress to the party? Just asking," Mattia said while laughing. "I should buy one just in case."

The girls in the boutique were looking at the two and were thrilled while looking at the two young men. "What do you think is best for Eli?"

"Eli?" Mattia questioned and held his chin. "Hmm, sounds suspicious."

"Your face sounds suspicious," Ran sarcastically said to Mattia and he continued to look for the best dress. "I don't even know her favorite color."

"She tells me that it's red," Mattia said. "You're the one who is always with her but you'll never even know about her favorites. You're such an idiot."

Ran was speechless because what Mattia said was true. But he just continued to choose clothes.

"Sir, can I assist you?" the saleslady asks.

Ran looked and said, "Yes, can you help me to choose a dress?"

"For your girlfriend?"

Ran was astounded by what the saleslady said but Mattia chortled, "Yes, his girlfriend."

"Can I check her?" the saleslady asked, which is why Ran showed Eliana's picture. "I think, she's good in a white dress."

"White dress . . ."

He suddenly visualized how beautiful Eliana was when she was wearing a white dress that suited her well. "And these shoes will suit her as well."

Ran chose it and bought it. Mattia is very happy because of what Ran is doing. It's obvious that Ran is already fallen with Eliana but he can't admit it. "She looks like a bride in that dress," Mattia said.

That's why Ran glared at Mattia. "Don't ever make some fantasy to her or else I'll punch you."

"Fine! Fine!"

When Ran arrived at the dorm, he went straight to Eliana to give the dress and shoes to be used at the party later. "Eli, here. You're going to accompany me later at the party held by our coach."

"I'm also invited?" Eliana asked. "Later? Really?"

"Of course, because you'll be my partner, you can use this." Ran opened the box and it contained a white dress and shoes. "I-I borrowed it from my colleague's wife but she gave it to you."

Eliana looked at the things inside the box and measured it. "Wow, it suits me well," Eliana said and took it. "I appreciate this, thank you!" Eliana said. "By the way, what time?"

"Our arrival time is 6 pm you shouldn't get late," Ran said and left Eliana's room.

Ran didn't think that Mattia heard what Ran said. "You tell her that you borrow it even though you don't . . ."

"Shhh!" Ran hushed Mattia. "I'm shy! Don't tell her that I bought it for her."

Mattia zipped his mouth and said, "You owe me a steak."

Ran rolled his eyes and said, "Fine!"

ELIANA was already dressed up and did a little makeup. She didn't put her hair up anymore and only fixed it by placing a hair clip to match her outfit. After she got ready, Ran knocked on her room. That's why she took her purse and went out.
