In which bachira finally decides to get a new pet, preferbly a cat. Living alone in his new apartment for a year and a half now and hes bored himself so it was time for change.
"a partner or a pet?" isagi tapped his shoulder awake
"I still don't know yet, hmmmmmm" he wondered
"why don't you just move in with me!" he looked at his friend
"WE'RE NEIGHBORS ALREADY!" isagi yelled
"oh yeah, but idk it's just so lonely and boring" he looked around his apartment
"then why did you decide to move out?"
"because I thought it would bring me freedom but instead it's bringing me...BILLS!" he threw pieces of important papers at isagi
isagi collected them off the ground and set them at the table, "look I'm sure you will find your answer soon but sulking in your apartment won't work"
"you're always right, thanks"
isagi got up and dabbed up his friend goodbye. Once isagi exicted his apartment, he decided to get his shit together. "ok maybe i'll walk around town first then check out the pet store!"
"casual outfit or go extra outfit?" he looked himsef in the mirror shirtless and sighed, i'm so lonely
He threw on a plain black hoodie and regular black sweatpants, this will do, it's chilly out there
"ok I just have to keep in the budget today, until i get paid next week" ugh why is this such a bad day already and i haven't even stepped outside yet!
He plopped out his phone from his pocket to find it laggin, oh this is just great!, he opened up instagram to find all his friends going out on trips with their girlfriends, i'm so jelous
𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, read his message for today, okay atleast there is no work but no money, he sighed and stepped outside
He first walked for 30 minutes before spotting a white cat on the sidewalk all by itself, aww it looks cute, wonder if it's abandoned?, he tried to reach to pet it before it stormed off
Cat hates me :(, he decided to chase after it but for the past 20 minutes, he couldn't find it so he gave up and decided to go for a treat then the pet store.
He entered a small sweet icecream shop and got himself a plain vanilla cone. "Wll that be it sir?" She eyed him and thought he was cute the moment he entered the shop
"Uhh, yes thank you" he took the icecream from her accidentally brushing his hand against her hand, he retracted his hand real quick with the icecream, "uhh so how much will that be?"
"Uhm wait, it's on me and take this small honey bun" she handed him a treat with a smile
"Are you sure?, won't you get in trouble-" He asked suprised, day not ruined anymore
"Yes, it's okay I own this shop" she reassured, she wanted to ask for his name before he left but she was scared if he already had a lover
"Oh, well then thank you, you made my day!" He smiled genuinely
A few awkward seconds later...
"Can I have your name-" he said
"Can I have your name-" she paused, "oops we said it at the same time" she awkwardly chuckled
"Yeahh, my name is Bachira meguru" he chuckled
"Y/n l/n, nice to meet you" she smiled
"same to you, but anyways i have to get going" he said realizing the time
"Oh, yeah sorry to have kept you here longer" she waved him goodbye as he excited, I should've asked for his number but then again no time because after work I have to search for my lost kitty
She's cute but she probably already has a bf, he had less than 30 minutes to reach the pet store before it closed today. Luckily for him he made it just in time and went on the search for a cat.
"Aww this ones looking at me, but $$$ I don't have the much on me rn" he looked around until he decided maybe next time
"Well out of today seeing that girl was the highlight of my day, maybe i'll see her soon or i should just go see her rightnow-" what am I thinking she will think i'm weird, -meow
"huh what was that sound?" He looked around and followed the sound which led him to a corner
"THE CAT FROM EARLIER!" This time he was able to trap it and pet it while sitting on the pavement floor
"Do you have a name mister whiskers?or are you a girl? Oh kitty?" He read the collar on his neck
"You are so adorable but you probably belong to someone, who did you run off from? They were probably so mean to youu, hmm? aww your so soft too!"
Still this cat has an owner maybe i should help find its owner and get a reward!, just thinking about it makes me sad :(, he decided to take in the cat for now until he found the owner
"My apartment is not that big! But i'll spoil you kitty" he smiled "gotta tell isagi then the others later, then visit that girl and maybe get her number" he layed on the matress while talking to the cat
"thinking about this new chapter in my life is getting me excited" he squashed his face on the pillow
-meow
"kitty, i'll make sure you find your owner" he promised while also embracing the cat
-meow
"tell me kitty, should I ask for that girls number?" he eyes the cat seriously
"..." the cat puts his fur paw on his head
"hehe, i'll take that as a yes!" he stood up and changed, oh shit it's already dark maybe tomorrow in the morning...that's if i wakeup tho
