Chapter 23: Calling To Me

Dream after dream assaults my mind. Half the story is missing though, but all involve her. Then it goes into one that makes me feel like something is still missing, but there's not. I can see everything.

It's her, in her garage, on her bike. Why she's practically naked I don't know, but I want to fuck her on it, so that's what I do. l know it's a dream, but it's the most realistic and best dream I've ever had, and I can't wait to try this on her one time we're in her garage. The next thing I know, I'm woken up by the ping of an incoming message on my cell from Kaiden.

Babe: Zye, are you going to college? It feels like ages since you've been here, and I didn't hear from you yesterday. Did your mom not tell you I came by? Xx

Me: I don't really know how to tell you this, but I found my mate, and it's complicated, so I've been dealing with stuff. I doubt I'll be there today. Chat tonight? I'll call you. Xx

Babe: Really? That's amazing news! Sucks for us! You will have to tell me all about her later. I'm happy for you. Xx

Me: You ok? I know it's unexpected and we will need to figure us out. I love you and always will, but she's my mate you know? Xx

Babe: Yeah, We're good. I totally get it. You know I love you too… My dad is being weird. Xx

Me: No offence, babe, but when isn't your dad weird. Xx

Babe: No. He's acting weirder than usual, stay on your guard, ok? I'm worried about you. Xx

Me: Ok, sounds like we really need to chat face to face. Why are you worried? Xx

Babe: Don't worry about that right now, you focus on your mate. Just promise to tell me of anything strange ok? Did you want to meet somewhere tonight? Xx

Me: I don't want to promise anything right now, but I'll message you after I talk to my mate. Which shouldn't take long. Xx

Babe: Sure. No problem. Xx

Me: I do love you, Kaiden. As much as I'm happy I've found her… I never wanted to lose you. Xx

Babe: I know. I feel the same. We will figure something out that works for all of us. You're my best friend and Beta, so you're stuck with me anyway, right? I'll talk to you later. Love you. Xx

My chest hurts at the thought that I'll never get to kiss him good morning or do the things we used to. I wish there was a way for me to have my mate and keep Kaiden. I look at the time on my cell, as my mind travels back to Nyx, to see It's almost nine in the morning. Yeah, no way I'm going to college, plus I've got to go check in on my sexy little spitfire.

Scrubbing my hands over my face I then realise that I'm home. In my garage. On my couch. How the hell did I get home? The whole thing wasn't a dream, was it?

"Most certainly not! We marked and mated her. I'm so fucking happy we found her, Zye. She's so beautiful and -"

"Yeah, I hope she's OK with what happened. Her Aunt needed to explain things first. What if she decides she doesn't want us? We didn't mate her fully, but -"

"Not for lack of trying! As soon as we were inside her, I tried! But we needed her to bite back, and it all happened so fast we didn't have time to knot her either… Damn it!"

"Calm down. Knotting doesn't matter, and we will have her soon enough. She's ours, remember? For as long as I can remember too. Hopefully, she still wants us when she knows. We need to speak to Mom about our mate dreams, find out why we're still having them when we've met her, and how She doesn't remember me ever telling her about Nyx when we were younger. I'm sure we would have told her! No?"
