Chapter 51: Did You Know!?

Sage makes a cup of tea, then sits at the table, drinking it.

"How's Kaiden's Mum?" I ask her.

"She will wake soon, all the bruising is gone and she will recover, her mental state might not be so good, but I will do all I can to help with that as well. As I know you will." She tells me with a smile. I turn to ask Corb if he's ready when I get the first sucker punch to the chest from them not being near enough.

"Are you ok?" Sage asks as my wrist flies to my face, and I take in a deep sniff, the scents of my mates helping me breathe easier, but it doesn't make the pain lessen.

"It's the separation. It seems to be… Well, it's fucking excruciating. They don't feel this bad. Why is that? And I made this bracelet out of their tops as the scent of them seems to help, but I can't have others scenting them." I tell her, hoping she will have a solution for it. I then bring the tops down in front of me and cut more up.

"I can not scent them on you, and by the looks of your other bracelets, they are helping mask them… Here," She waves her hand over the fabric and the bracelet, identical to the original one I made, is done in seconds. I then put it on my other wrist and Sage quickly materialised more of my bracelets with different beads. "I can only guess that because you have two mates, you are feeling double the pain -"

"It's more than double. I feel like I'm being stabbed in the heart and someone is twisting the knife in constant circles! Thank you." I say as she finishes helping me with the bracelets.

"You're welcome. I will look into it for you, and see if we can find a way to lessen it."

"Ok. Thanks… Come on Corb, let's go." We both stand and head for the door when My Aunt stops us.

"Are we going to stay with my Dad for a while? You weren't just saying that? I just want to know if I am packing a few bags for everyone or not."

"I meant it. Is Kaiden's Mum -"

"Celeste," Sage tells me.

"That's a pretty name… Can she come? I don't want her here alone."

"I don't see why not. We will want the house empty anyway. I will speak to my Dad, ok?"

"I will see what she wants to do. I can shield her wherever we are." Sage adds.

"Ok. You ask Zokbormah, and Sage, can you find out what my Monah-ot-sikrel wants to do. I won't force her, I want her to feel safe and comfortable, so whatever she decides. See you soon." (Mother-in-law) I commanded, and with that me and Corb finally managed to leave, cutting it close to get to college on time.

We arrive at the college and Zye and Kaiden are by the doors waiting. I want nothing more than to run over to them, especially as my pain turns to excitement, but I refrain with the help of Corbin, who manages to grab hold of my top and stop me before I throw myself at them. We walk over slowly and walk past them into the building.

"You both look hot, and I fucking hate this!" I cry in their heads.

"Nyx!" I hear shouted from behind me. I turn and they both walk over, Kaiden acts indifferent toward me, which I get, it's for show. Doesn't make it hurt any less.

"Feliikyol. I love you and Zye more than anything. It's just for a little while, remember? I'm sorry. I hate it too -"

"I know. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, and if you'd stop reading my thoughts, you would be none the wiser to my inner musings that are mine!"
