CHAPTER 34

Nervous, excited, and undesireable butterflies due to stress are what Bora is feeling at this instance. It's her official first day, and she passed the interview. Hanuel was also in that room, trying to comfort her with his cool expressions when she was giving an interview. Of course, people know her as Beom's twin, which means she shares the same features as Beom. She hated the attention she was getting; people were bowing towards her, but Beom and Hanuel came to the hallway, and Beom told everyone that he doesn't know Bora personally here; here she is his employe. When Beom asked Bora why she was 7 minutes late, she said, "Sorry, Mr. Park, but my brother is so irresponsible; he has to give me a ride till the office, but he dressed up late, so I'm late. On behalf of my younger and dumber brother, I'm here apologising. I will make sure that tomorrow I will beat his ass and be on time." Beom wants to throw his black coffee on Bora's face and her new dress, but his parents taught him to be respectful to everyone, and now he is boss, so he just glared at everyone who was trying to suppress their laugh, including his favourite Hyung. Bora was going through old designs their company had made, and she spotted a picture in which a couple's hands were visible and they were wearing amethyst bracelets. She knew the owner of those bracelets, and the hands belonged to Taehyung and Mihyun. She clicked the picture and sent it to their group, which includes her uncles, Mih aunt, and her siblings. Hanuel replied that she should work there, and Beom said it was Hanuel's fault to bring her to the company. He even complained about the morning incident, and everyone was laughing at poor Beom. During lunch time, Bora took out her food along with Y/N's diary to complete. She wants to complete it as soon as possible.

TRUSFRATED

Yesterday, I was working on my new case and forgot to have dinner, so around 1 a.m., Jim came to my study and was asking me to come and sleep with him, but I was left with a few things, and then I would take out a printout of my presentation, then I'd be ready for my case, but Jim was forcing me to come or at least have a glass of milk. How can I have a glass of milk when a person was beaten to death and his injuries were too much? While protesting milk, milk fell down on my laptop, and all my hard work of the past 4 days was gone. Furious was what I was feeling at that moment, and I knew I would say some harsh words to him, so I quickly wore an oversized coat, held my mobile, and dashed out of home. Jim was apologising and telling me not to go; in fact, Ddsuon too was barking at us; he did this whenever we both argued about something. I bought a cegrett for a convenience store. I felt like someone was behind me, so I increased my pace, and after some time of running, I reached my office and found someone sitting near the gate. I was scared, but that person acknowledged my presence and stood up.But he didn't look scary; he looked like a 19- or 21-year-old young man. He was here to get a job with my assistance; he didn't have that much money to spend on hotels, so he ended up there. He studied at Seoul National University and Dongguk University, and my god, he was a brilliant student. The passion in his eyes somehow reminded me of a younger Y/N and how I begged Ms. Oh to let me work with her, and after some time everything was perfect, but when it seems comfortable, it has problems. She only wants money, and a lady committed suicide because she was unable to pay the fee, and unfortunately, I was handling that case. She died because I didn't went through her case but at that time all I wanted to win and being in opposition and under someone didn't help. Then I left, Ms. Oh, and here I am today. His result is incredible. Jim was calling me to make sure that I was safe. I told him about the situation, and he told me to bring my new assistant, Kang Hwan, home with me. I went back home and found Jim with his precious smile. I can't be mad at this person.

Bora skipped some pages and reached the page where Pregnant was written. Bora was excited for this part, but the head designer came and placed her hand harshly on Bora's desk. She flinched because she was so into her book. The lunch break was over, and Bora didn't even open her lunch box. Today's lunch was special because every uncle participated in cooking or packing, but her bad luck means she can't have it now. After working hard, she went back to her nest, took some fruits, and went into her room. After having a not-so-long shower, she again opened Y/N's journal.

PREGNANT

I think he is cheating on me. I guess he is in relation to his work. I can't believe that instead of spending some quality time with me, he is busy on his phone. So today again I was feeling low, nauseous, and losing appetite. On Mih's advice, we bought seven pregnancy kits to be sure. I was scared because, again, I didn't want to see that single line. That broke my heart and Jim's too, although he didn't show it. I could see the pain in his smile. We were both holding each other's hands, and FUCK, it's positive we are going to be mothers. We both had tears in our eyes, and I swear that was the most precious moment of our lives. He spined me and kissed the test. I mean, I can understand his happiness, but that stick had my urine on it, and when he realised he had washed his face, specifically his lips, I couldn't contain my laughter. New York is good, but I think what made New York the best was that I got to know that I am pregnant. I can't believe it. But would I be able to be the good mother I wanted for my kid? Okay, believe yourself. You have to be a good mother, and you have so many wonderful people in your life who will help you. We didn't tell anyone as it was a surprise, and told everyone at dinner as that was our last day in in New York .Next week we had a dinner, and I planned to tell them at that time only. So during our dinner, everyone was there, and everyone was asking why we both seemed too happy, but we said that we had a great vacation, and Taebitch said that meant we had sex the whole week. Ignoring his comment, we continued our dinner, and when everyone was about to finish, I sent them the result of my screening test, in which two little beans were seen. Almost everyone choked on their food or whatever they were having. Poor kids were looking at their parents and uncles. Jim kept his hand on my belly and said," Our blood, sweet, and her tears, also known as babies Park." Gosh, why did I marry this man? Everyone burst into laughter. They were talking to babies seriously; they were all grown asses.
