We were packing since we were going back home, I'm happy my baby finally told her truth.
"Mommy I love you" Chanel said hugging her mom
"I love you more, you call soon as you get home" she said
"It was nice seeing you again Mrs.Mills. Thankyou for everything." I say hugging her
"No, thankyou for helping my baby walk in her truth and loving her the way you do" she says hugging me tight
"It's the easiest thing I've ever done in my life" I said tearing up
"Bye Mira, ima come down for the summer! We definitely gon get lit" Chloe said hugging me
"Definitely!" I said laughing
Chanel had already put our bags in the car and we decided I was going to drive, also with the news I was about to put on her? I definitely needed to drive anyways.
We drove out the neighborhood and on our way back to Texas.
"Baby can we talk?" I ask her with a Lump in my throat
"Of course, Talk" she said sitting up
"So you know the break we had and we both was doing shit yk. Like I never meant to do anything to hurt you and you know, your the only girl I want in my life. Forever. But this girl .. uhm girl I was fucking with told me she pregnant." I said with tears falling down my face
"I know. She told me too, this morning actually. Was just waiting for you to bring it up" She said looking out the window
"Why didn't you say anything Chanel?" I ask
"You questioning me? Like you didn't get another fucking girl pregnant? And miracle I'm not even mad, I know this my karma for cheating when I did. Still hurts though, knowing someone is carrying my girlfriend's kid." She said crying
"I told her to get rid of it! I told her I didn't want it." I said
"Miracle you can't force nobody to kill their fucking unborn. You never even considered how that girl feels. Lucky for you she went to the doctor this morning, I even gave her the 500$. It's the fact I was never mad about the situation, just how you reacted. You were hella insensitive and just all around fucked up to her about it. I would at least expect you to have a little respect for the fucking girl." She said getting louder
"Fuck you give that bitch yo money for? I told her I had it. Fuck she even texting you for?" I yell
"Because of you! She texted me because of how horrible you were and she didn't know what to fucking do. I appreciate your love for me and how much you care about me. But she wasn't a bitch when you nutted in her. She wasn't a bitch when you told her we were never getting back together " she cried thru every word
"Chanel please" I said before she cut me off
"Nothing. I don't wanna talk any longer. I don't even know if I would wanna have a child with you forreal. It's like I really don't know who tf you are." She said turning the music up
Ironically, Strange by celeste was playing. I can't win for fucking losing at this point. I just drove home, being silent like she wanted me to be.
4 hrs later
I pull up to the gas station while Chanel is sleeping beautifully in the passenger seat. We only have 2 hours left Thankgod.
"Mama" I say shaking her
"Lovey" she responds back switching sides
"You want anything out the store?" I ask
"Core water" she say going back to sleep
I walk in the store and grab her water & me some tea. I wonder she want some gummy worms, she always eat the fuck out of mine.
As I turn the corner I see... Jade.
We just stand there looking at each other, not knowing what to say or if we should say anything.
"Hey" I say
"Hi" she responds
"Baby get me some gummy worms, I was trying to text you but you left your phone in the ca-" Chanel said finding me in the store but stopped talking when she seen Jade
Jade eyes lit up, which made me sick
"Hey jay" Chanel spoke, smiling
"Hey nunu" she said smiling back
"How have you been?" Chanel asks
"Good, way better than I was before thanks for asking. How are you guys?" She asked
"We're great, thanks for asking." I say smiling
"We should get going but nice seeing you Jade" Chanel says grabbing my hand and walking to the register
I pay for our stuff and walk back to the car
"I'll pump the gas" She said
"Chanel get in the car" I say opening the gas tank
"What happened to we don't get jealous?" She ask standing in front of me
"I'm not jealous, you just smiled too big back there" I say rolling my eyes
"Your the cutest" she said kissing my cheek
"Oh now you love me again?" I say
"I never stopped loving you, just stopped liking your duck ass" she said laughing
"I'm hurt" I said fake wiping tears

Chanel nor Miracle realized Jade was staring at them from the window of the gas station. She saw and felt the love between them.
