Hope's P.O.V

"Surely there is a way to get him back. Every spell has a loophole" I said to stefan as we were walking.
He shook his head,
"I looked for months, and nothing. I couldn't find anything, there is nothing." he replied.
"So you've just gave up?" I asked incredulously.
"There's nothing else I can do. I looked and I couldn't find anything." he defended himself.
"There is. You keep looking, you don't give up! If the roles were reversed, I'm sure Damon would stop at nothing to get you back. You're brothers. You're the Salvatore brothers." I told him.
He sighed, looking into space. He looked so lost.
"Anyway.. why do you look so much older?" He asked me.
I sighed,
"Everything has changed, Stefan. I am... special. I age quicker than normal people." I shrugged.
"What?" He asked confused.
"I know, I know. Anyways, I have to leave soon. There is some family stuff I need to sort out." I told him.
A look of sadness shown in his features, I guess because I mentioned family. He gave me a small smile,
"I'm glad that you've finally met your family, I'm happy for you." he said.
I returned the smile,
"You will get through this stefan. We will find a way." I told him and he just gave a weak smile.
"See you around maybe." I said and turned around.
"Hope." he said and I turned around and gasped.
He had my phone in his hand!
"I brought this with me in case I did ever bump into you." he said and handed it to me.
I squealed and jumped up and down with excitement,
"Thank you thank you thank you!" I shrieked.
Ah how I had missed my phone these few months.
I had a new one, but it wasn't that same. I had no contacts and barely any pictures,but now I have my phone back!!
Stefan chuckled,
"Bye Hope."

"Guys! I have some news! Very very very important and exciting news!" I called as I entered the door.
Everybody appeared out of thin air with their vampire speed. I was kind of used to that by now.
"What is it?" Elijah asked.
I grinned,
"Kol is back!" I shrieked, blurting it out.
Everybody just stared wide eyed at me stunned, as if I was speaking a different language.
"What are you talking about love?" My dad asked.
"W-what?" Rebekah managed out.
"Kol is back! Esther brought him back along with Finn!" I exclaimed.
Shock was evident on everybody's faces.
"Is he on mothers side?" My dad asked.
"No. Sit down, I have some explaining to do."

So then I explained to everybody what Kol told me.
"So she doesn't know who you are yet?"
"Nope. Hopefully she doesn't find out anytime soon." I replied.
There was a silence throughout the room.
"I seen stefan before.." I mumbled.
"Stefan?!" Rebekah shrieked.
I nodded,
"What on earth is the rippah doing in New Orleans?" My dad asked.
"D-Dam"
The words couldn't leave my mouth as tears filled in my eyes but I wouldn't let them fall. I couldn't be weak.
"Hope what's happened?" Elijah asked concerned, sitting beside me.
"Damon is dead. So is Bonnie but we didn't get along. But Damon... we got along so well.." I murmured.

Everybody gasped in surprise,
"Damon Salvatore is dead?!" Rebekah asked.
I nodded and my mom came and hugged me.
I stood up,
"I'm fine. It's okay." I said.
"It's not okay.." Mom said
"Yes it is. I'm okay!" I repeated.
"No. None of this is okay.." She started.
"Fine. It's not okay. Everything is all screwed up! Does that make you feel better?" I snapped, raising my eyebrow.

Everyone looked at me, surprised at my outburst.

"I'm sorry, another outburst." I muttered. These werewolf genes are making me snap all of the time.

"It's okay. So, about Kol, where is he now?" Elijah asked me.

"Well, we were walking and talking but then he seen Finn across the street." I replied.

"Okay, well at least now we know what they both look like, so we can be wary of them." My mom said.

"What is the plan then?" I asked.
