Chapter 22

PRACTICE ROOM

Everyone was sitting down. They were all in a circle. Jay and Yunjin are next to each other with Jay's arm around Yunjin and Yunjin holding his hand. Obviously Niki and Eunchae were next to each other, holding hands with Eunchae holding onto his arm. She also put her head on his shoulder.

The rest were all there and they were all talking about how life is going to go from now on.

Jungwon: Now that you guys are dating, what are your plans? Will you tell the world?
Niki: I don't know, what should we do?
Eunchae: Maybe we should keep it private for now and announce it later. Yunjin and Jay haven't announced it either.
Jay: That's true. We thought we would wait to announce it.
Chaewon: Take your time, either way there's more fans who will love to see you guys together than haters.
Sakura: Yea, that's when you see the real fans and fake ones.
Niki: That's okay, I don't care about the haters, my happiness is more important, and hers too.

Niki turns to look at Eunchae already looking at him.

Everyone just smiles. Some of the girls go "aww" and the guys just laugh.

Eunchae: So guys, what's he been doing until now?
Niki: I haven't been doin-
Heeseung: Girl, all he would do is try to impress you.
Niki: That's not true, I-
Jay: He would watch music bank from home to see you and get jealous at Chaemin.
Niki: No, I don't.
Jake: Ayeeee, why are you lying.
Eunchae: Aww, I think that's cute.
Niki: You do?
Eunchae: Yes, it proves how much you love me.
Niki: I guess it does.
Sunghoon: So now you admit it, after she called it cute. Damn you are so shy.

Niki sticks his tongue out at him, laughing.

A WEEK LATER

Enhypen had officially made their comeback, which meant they would go to music bank and get an interview.

Obviously Eunchae was the mc so it was more exciting. They were just gonna have to wait and see what would happen.

BEFORE THE INTERVIEW BACKSTAGE

Eunchae: Niki, what are you gonna do?
Niki: What do you mean?
Eunchae: We're supposed to hide our relationship.
Niki: We will
Eunchae: And you're going to restrain yourself from looking at me?
Niki: Yea, I can do it.
Eunchae: Oh really? Since when?

She giggled knowing he'd always stare
at her when he had the chance. Niki laughs with a big smile on his face.

Niki: Since today, I'm good at hiding things.
Eunchae: Okay
Niki: I mean... I did hide my feelings for you.
Eunchae: No you didn't, I clearly knew about it.
Niki: You clearly didn't, Yunjin told me everything.
Eunchae: Ugh Yunjin, I'll deal with her later.
Niki: Good luck today.
Eunchae: You too, see you later.
Niki: See you.

Niki quickly gives her a peck on the lips and runs off. Eunchae just smiles knowing damn well that boy can't keep his eyes off her.

LATER

It was now time for the interview and Enhypen came in to get prepared. Niki walked in and saw Eunchae, smiled at her and went into position.

The interview soon started and they were on air. All Niki could think about is her and how to not stare at her as she is looking beautiful today.

He tried hiding, but that didn't work. Eunchae's reaction made everyone laugh so his laughing blended in and he hid it well. Eventually they had to show the key point of the choreography so the music was playing. Their song had a long intro so they had to wait.

That's when Niki couldn't help but look at her and ended up staring at her for too long.

Eunchae felt his eyes on her so she turned her head to look at him.

Niki knew that she saw him and turned away. He was supposed to prove to her that he could keep his eyes off her. He clearly couldn't.

Eventually, the interview ended and Enhypen was leaving. For respect, they bow to each other. Niki is the last one to bow to Eunchae. He gives Chaemin a look, letting him know that Eunchae is his. Then he bows to his girlfriend and starts walking away. Both Eunchae and Niki smile after bowing to each other, hoping to have hid their relationship well.
