ɴᴏᴀʜ'ꜱ ᴘᴏᴠ 

I woke up the following day to my phone ringing. It was 9:30 in the morning, and Dalton was calling me. 

"Hello," I said half asleep 

"Something's wrong with banana, she's not getting up and if she does she falls right down, I need to take her to the vet but my car is in the shop, can you bring your truck and take us?" He asked in a panicked state

"Yeah I'll be over there in like 5 minutes," I said and hung up the phone. 

I grabbed the nearest clothes I had which were a black pair of shorts and a white shirt. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my keys. Banana is the team dog, she's Daltons' dog but now she represents the bananas. I Made my way to his house and he was standing outside with the dog in his arms. He put her in the back seat and he got into the passenger seat. 

We drove to a vet that was pretty close to us. Palmer Veterinarian Clinic. I parked the car and Dalton got Banana out. we walked in and talked to the front desk about what was wrong with the dog. 

"Palmer come out here please" The lady yelled into the back 

The girl from the stadium with her brother walked out last night. 

"Em, what's up?" She asked 

"Well these two young men brought her in saying she can barely stand, and if she does get to her feet she immediately falls. they brought her in immediately" Emily told her

She bent down, listened to her heart, and then felt her nose. 

"Alright, so Emily can you get their information and admit what's her name?" She asked 

"Banana," I told her 

"Ok, I'll take her into the back and then I'll come back out to get you guys." She told us 

"I can take her back if you need" I suggested 

"No it's ok I can pick her up," The vet told us

She picked the dog up so simply and took her back into a room. Dalton filled out the paperwork, and then we went back to the room Banana was in. We took a seat and waited for the doctor to return. 

"Alright so right now im getting a workup on her. The one thing I noticed was her nose is bone dry, and most of the time when you feel a dog's nose it should be a little wet. So her nose being dry means she most likely came across a small cold" She told us

"The one thing that is weird is how weak she is, so Im gonna go ahead and push some anti-biotics then some protein, is there any food she can't have, and anything she is allergic to?" She asked 

"She can have anything, and she isn't allergic to anything," Dalton told her

"Alright so I'm gonna grab the things I need and I will be right back," The vet told us as she left. 

"That was the girl from the game last night with her brother," I told Dalton 

"What?" He asked confused 

"There was a kid last night that's a huge fan of me, and that lady helping your dog, that's his older sister" I explained. 

"oh. wait isn't that the kid you were telling me how he said his sister was single?" he questioned 

"Yeah that one," I replied

I went to the medicine room to grab the Antibiotics that would help the dog, I also grabbed one of the strengthening treats we had to give her. I walked back into the room.
