The wedding went on for a while. it was around 12:30 PM when it was just Noah, me and our friends left. Once the clock hit 1 AM we all left. When we got back to the house we changed and fell asleep immediately.
I woke up the next morning and rolled over to an empty bed. I stood up and grabbed my phone. I checked in our bathroom, but he wasn't there. I went into the closet, but he wasn't there either. I walked downstairs and smelt bacon. Noah had his airpods in while cooking breakfast. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around him.
"Good morning my new husband," I said
"Good morning my new wife" He replied putting his AirPods in their case
"Whatcha making?" I asked looking around
"I found your recipe box and found these things called Crepes. They looked interesting so I wanted to try them," He said
"Alright, I'm gonna go let River out," I said slipping my shoes on
I let River out into the backyard and waited for her to be done. I let her back into the house and shut the door behind me. I walked back over to Noah and watched as he cooked.
"You need help?" I asked
"Yeah," he said looking down at me
"Ok, so you wanna lay down a thin layer of batter. Once you see the bubbles form around the edge take the spatula and flip It. You want to cook it for about 3 minutes on each side. Once they're done put them on a plate and add your toppings." I explained flipping the last one
"Can you grab the Nutella and bananas?" I asked
"Yeah," He replied handing me the toppings
I put 2 crepes on a plate. I spread a good layer of Nutella on them and then cut up a few bananas. I rolled the crepes and added a few pieces of bananas to the side of the plate. I set Noah's plate in front of him with a fork and a napkin.
"Thank you," He said
"You are welcome," I said sitting down across from him
"So what's the game plan for today?" He asked
"Well, I wanna unpack some of the gifts we got last night, then do a deep clean of the house. Tonight I wanna pack our bags and load up the truck so in the morning we can get ready then leave" I said biting into the crepe
"How many outfits should I pack?" He asked
"7 or 8," I replied
"We also gotta be out of the house by 9:30," I said
"9:30 got it," he said
"We get to experience Moana in real life for a week," I said putting the dishes in the sink
"I'm so glad we chose Bora Bora, it's so pretty," Noah said
"It really is, the resort we booked, it's like what you see in the movies," I said
"The water is like crystal clear," Noah said showing me a picture
"yeah, I'm excited," I said sitting back down
"Me too," Noah said
After I cleaned up downstairs Noah headed over to the stadium while I packed the bags. I packed a week's worth of clothes for the both of us. I made sure to set aside the things we would use in the morning. I will say I'm not too happy about the flight. The shortest one I could find was a 20-hour flight. No layovers just one straight flight. Once everything was packed I put the bags downstairs. Tonight I have to drop River off at my mom's house for the week that we're gone just so she isn't lonely. While I waited for Noah to get home I watched a bunch of movies.
5 hours later
I was starting dinner. Noah said he would be home in about 20 minutes. I was making a simple dinner tonight. Stuffed shells. I browned the ground beef and added the spaghetti sauce to it. While I let the beef and sauce simmer I boiled the shells and made the paste that went into them. All the paste consisted of was ricotta cheese and eggs. Once the shells were done I put them into a casserole dish and spread the paste over them. I poured the beef and sauce on and topped it off with a bunch of cheese. I put it in the oven for about 35 minutes. While the food was cooking I rinsed the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.
Noah got home shortly after and we ate dinner.
"How was work today?" I asked Noah
"It was good, we just worked on a few plays," He replied
"That's good, I got all the bags packed up. I left all the shower stuff out remind me to pack it back up" I said
"Alright," He said
"What are you wearing tomorrow?" Noah asked
"Well when we get there it's gonna be in the 90s, and here it's gonna be in the 80s so most likely a pair of shorts and a shirt" I replied
"Well, if you could please when you are done put your dishes in the dishwasher then turn it on," I asked Noah rinsing my plate and then putting it in the dishwasher.
"yes ma'am," He said
"Thank you so much, I'm gonna go ahead and get into the shower," I said kissing him and then walking upstairs
I turned the water on and stripped my clothes off. I got in and let the water saturate my hair. I massaged shampoo into my hair then rinsed it out and did the same thing with my conditioner. While I let the conditioner set I washed my body and face. I rinsed my body then my hair and got out. I wrapped my hair in a towel and put a towel around my body. I went into my room and put on a pair of silk PJs. I hung my towels up and sat down at my vanity. I brushed my hair and braided it into 2 French braids. I did my normal skincare and after-shower routine. When I was done I went back downstairs and sat on the couch with Noah.
"You wanna go watch the sunset outside with me?" I asked
"yeah," He said grabbing my hand as he stood up
We stood up and went outside and sat on the outdoor couch.
"Craigs watching you from above" Noah whispered into my ear
"You think so?" I asked
"Yeah I do," He said laying his head on me
