Kaia Palmer- Head Vet and talented dancer has what some would call a dream come true when she meets Noah Bridges-Outfielder for the Savannah Bananas at a game with her younger brother. Little does she know that one little meeting will change her lif...
I woke up and called into the office. I told them that I wasn't going to be there today. I walked across the hall and quietly opened the door to the guest room. Stella was taking a few Tylenol and water.
"Good morning sunshine," I said sitting on the end of the bed
"Last night was fucking lit as shit," She said
"You not wrong," I told her
"Are you hungry, I can go make some food" I offered
"That would be amazing, can I use your shower?" She asked
"Yeah, you know I think you have some leftover clothes here," I said looking into the closet
"Found them," I said, I pulled out a pair of sweatpants and an old cropped shirt
"Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver," She said
"Anything for my favorite," I said
On my way out I opened the curtains and grabbed my phone from my room. I turned it on and I had a bunch of notifications.

I sat there and read the entire article. I couldn't believe it. There is no way Noah would do that to me. He hasn't even been there for 2 days yet. I immediately called him. Of course, he didn't answer. I texted him a picture of the article. No answer.
I decided to leave it alone for a bit, I started on breakfast for Stella and me. I made some pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs. I got each of us a plate and made both of them. I got myself some sweet tea and Stella water. I put the food in the living room and turned the TV on. I ran back into the kitchen and grabbed 2 forks and knives along with some napkins.
"Kaia, have you been so social media?" Stella asked
"Sure have, I texted him and called him he won't answer," I said looking at her
"What about his mom or dad" She suggested
"I don't want to rope them into this," I said
"Let's maybe let it go for a bit then look into it later," Stella said I agreed.
We ate breakfast as we watched Elf.

we decided to go shopping. I went upstairs and threw on a pair of sweatpants and a cute off-the-shoulder sweater. I put perfume and deodorant on. I brushed my hair and threw it into a messy bun. I put on a pair of Birkenstocks and went back downstairs.
"How do you make such a lazy outfit look so good?" Stella asked
