"can I go faster?" I asked not wanting to push the limits with his fancy ass car

"why would I bring you to an empty lot if I didn't want you to drive in it" he said nudging my head with his pointer finger,
a small smile reached my face as I sped up turning the small corners
obviously I wasnt going that fast but it felt like it

"what ones the brakes?" I asked looking down at my shoes resting by the pedals

"why are you stopping" he leaned over lifting my leg onto the right pedal
that shouldn't be make me nervous but it did

"it's your turn" I stopped the car fully before reaching for the door

"wait, before you get out you have to put the clutch back on" he said grabbing my hand and putting it on the clutch stick thingy between us

after we swapped back into our better suited seats I lazed back into the leather

"you should do a doughnut" I gasped excitedly, remembering that I've never been in a car while it happens

"nah fool, that shits hard" he shook his head rubbing the side of his face

"pussy" I mumbled under my breath HOPING he heard it

"did you seriously just call me a pussy? you really are a child" he smirked

"did you seriously say no because of your musty atheritis? you really are an old man" I copied his words changing the roles

seconds after I finished talking he put his foot down on the gas, and the brakes, making the tires smoke as they grazed off on the concrete

my jaw dropped as the car started to spin, then abit more, until he was going around continuously

I laughed putting my hands over my face smiling,
before the smoke started to make its way through the windows he stopped, driving straight again "your welcome, I just fucked up my tires for you" he whined

"as you should" I replied smiling at the adrenaline rocketing through my body

"ava!!" I hugged her after not seeing her since Olivia's funeral
"how are you feeling?" she asked

"better, I know part of her is still here" I smiled pulling ava into a side hug as we walked
thinking about olivia still makes me want to cry, but she had such a great energy that it feels like she left some of herself here with us

"so are you doing anything for Friday?" ava asked excitedly

I just looked at her confused
"whats happening on Friday?" I kept my gaze on her as her jaw dropped and she stared at me like I'm crazy

"YOUR 18TH BIRTHDAY?!" she raised her voice
oh my God

"fuck how did I forget about that?!" we were both as shocked as eachother

"IM GONNA THROW YOU A PARTY, DONT WORRY"  She yelled running the other way

"OSCAR" I turned my head to see delilahs friend ava running across the road towards me and pablo

I looked at her confused
why's she here?

"I need your house on friday" she said putting her hands on her knees to catch her breath

"you what?" I replied

pablo started laughing

"it's delilahs birthday on Friday and I can't throw her a party at her abuelitas or mine, and your kinda the only other option since I know you always have partys" she talked slow taking breaks between every few words, still puffed from running
