"I'm so glad your back, it's been boring as fuckk around here without you" chico said whispering toward the end of his sentence.
"shh they'll hear you" I joked, everyone else was standing too far away to hear us, even if he didn't whisper
"delilah!" ceaser ran over hugging me, followed by the rest of the group.
I smiled to them all, but my face dropped seeing jamal. "shiiit dude what is that" I stepped closer to him tilting his head up so the sun was on it, he has a huge black eye.
"did you get in a fight?" I gasped stepping back
"yes, the whole football team! but i won so its oka-" he started, but monse cut him off
"tell her the truth jamal" monse giggled, she seems oddly happy
"I fell into a donation bin" he frowned glaring at monse
"because those two dropped me!" he squeaked pointing at monse and ceaser who were trying not to laugh.
" what were you doing in a donation bin anyway" I asked sitting down on the grass, they all sat aswell.
"rollerworld money, we- sorry Ifound it ages ago, but my mom took it there because it was hidden in my football bag" he explained.
"understandable" I said sarcasticly
"wait where's ruby? I haven't seen him in ages" I looked around for him, he didn't end up being at my birthday since he had to recover after getting shot. but surely by now he'd be okay.
"hes in his bed, he's been sad for days" Jasmine pitched in
"I think it's because of Olivia but no one's really sure because he was okay for a bit, and nows he's acting weird again" ceaser explained
"should we try go get him up?" I asked already planning all our options
"you cantry" Jasmine stood up first and we all followed.
"where you going hermosa" oscar called to me from the porch
