Escaping is never been Paige's expertise. At this moment, he doesn't know what to do. When he left Rafael 3 years ago, hindi iyon sinasadya dahil nagkataon lamang na pupunta siya sa Italy. Matagal na iyon na kaniyang plano kaya hindi pagtakas ang nangyari noon.

It was fate that made them far from each other after meeting up. And right at this moment, it might also be the fate that pushes them away from one another.

Recalling all the things that happened is too much for Paige. Ang hirap balikan ng mga alaalang iyon. And all those memories hunted him every night.

"Paeng!" Diego called him.

Paige that night barely left Manila with the little cash he found on Rafael's wallet. When he saw the first trip of the bus towards Valenzuela. And it wasn't yet far for Paige, he rode another bus and reached Angeles for the whole day.

Gabi na ng makarating siya sa Angeles. He was tired and exhausted from all of those travels. Pagod na pagod siya sa byahe lalo na't hindi pa siya makakain ng mabuti. All he did was eat ready to eat foods and water. There's nothing that he could think about but running away.

He stayed in Angeles for the night. He booked an inn for him to rest. But he never did rest. Hindi siya makatulog sa unang gabi ng kaniyang pagtakas. Hindi maalis sa kaniyang isipan na baka may nakasunod sa kaniya.

He hasn't gotten a proper sleep and yet he travelled again. He stopped for a while in Tarlac but immediately traveled to Dagupan at night. The second night was the same. Hindi siya makatulog at mapakali. He also couldn't eat properly.

The third day he went to Baguio. His money was running out. Kunti nalang ang natitirang pera niya. And that's when signs showed up. Akala niya ay dahil lang sa pagod kaya siya mabilis na mahilo. Balak sana niyang magpahinga sa Baguio sa gabing iyon ng isang araw ngunit ang isang araw ay naging dalawa, hanggang sa maging tatlo, at naging buong week na.

He is throwing up everything that he eats. It's his seventh day here in Baguio and he is still feels sick. Nagsusuka at nahihilo siya. He never thought that it could be something else.

He's still thinking about a lot of things and what happened. Hindi pa siya nakaka-move on sa nangyayari. He lacks news about what's happening after he left. Wala siyang narinig na balita mula sa kaniyang mga magulang.

Lalong-lalo na sa nangyari kay Rafael. It wasn't on the news. They never announced what happened to him that night. Kaya mas dumami ang iniisip ni Paige.

Did he live?

Is he okay?

He has no news of him. Hindi niya rin magawang bumili ng cellphone sa takot na malocate siya once na binuksan niya ang kaniyang mga social media.

He has no money left. Hindi niya rin magamit ang card ni Rafael sa takot na ma-track nila ang kaniyang location. And that if he did, he might be in danger again.

He hasn't left his room ever since. His foods were given to him by the inn he checked into. He remained inside his room for all those days and nights. But the night of his 7th stay was different.

Pinagkakatok ang pinto ng kwarto ni Paige. Ang simpleng katok ay naging marahas. Paige immediately went inside the comfort room, waiting for the person to stop knocking. Afraid, he left that place immediately. Iniwan niya lamang ang bayad niya sa kaniyang kwarto. Since he doesn't have anything with him, nakaalis siya ng mabilis.
