In her daydream, Khumo finds herself sitting in a park surrounded by people, the air alive with the sweet melody of birdlife. The sounds of bush mice rummaging about in search of food for their young fill the background. It's a scene of tranquillity and life, a stark contrast to the barren and dangerous wilderness that she has grown accustomed to.

As she sits and watches, Khumo feels a sense of longing and nostalgia for the life she left behind. She yearns for the simplicity of everyday routines and the warmth of somebody. But she knows that she cannot turn back time, and that her life has taken her on a path of adventure and challenge that has led her to this moment.

At Khumo's side is Jonathan, and maybe beside them, the family she could have.
