'You have pretty eyes'  did he really mean that or was he just saying? is he thinking about me as i'm thinking about him? wait- Y/n stop thinking about him you know he's such an ass i mean right, through out all those years, all he has done is pick on me left and right. People usually always say the only reason a guy picks on you is because he likes you, Matt doesn't like me. He doesn't? does he? You started to overthink that small interaction you had with Matt during the lab. You mid was going crazy eyes still shut looking at the time your clock reads 3:12, why do i always think about the most random stuff when i'm trying to sleep. Drifting back into sleep you are woken by your little sister "Mom said you gotta wake up, if your not up by the time breakfast is ready your gonna be sorry." "I'm up." "No your not." "Stella get out of my room!" "Whatever." she rolled her eyes and left not shutting the door pissing you off even more. Walked downstairs, "I'm up." "Go get ready for school your going to be late." "I'm to tired to go to-" "Y/N i am not talking about this your are going to school even if i have to take you there myself."  "Okay, geez."

Driving to V's house you played yours and her favorite playlist, just and you turned to her street you can see her locking her house and waving at you walking up to your car. "Ooo there's my sexy bae." She says entering the car, and places her drink in the cup holder and relaxes her chair as she pulled the sun visor down to look at herself in the mirror finishing up her makeup, she saw the sticker on the mirror that said 'passenger princess'. "Is this for me?" she pretended to wipe a tear, "nah, it's for my #1 passenger princess." she put her hand on her chest acting offended, she scoffed. "Who, Matt?" she giggled i softly slapped her on the arm. "No but where you wanna go, i'm in the mood for boba ngl." "Me too but are they open." "Check." I put my car in neutral and started driving, "They are." she said i put the directions to the nearest one which was almost 30 minutes but y'all were craving it and you had time to kill so it was perfect.
15 minutes into the car ride V was just talking about her and Jay while I pretended to listen saying an occasional, 'mhmm' 'really?' 'omg' 'kk' 'that's crazy' and 'wow'. Her phone vibrated from being in the cup holder, she picked it up because she only has her notifications on for important people. "Jay texted me that he heard Matt talking about you." "Huh?! What was he saying?" "I don't know he didn't say, i'm asking him right now." you mumbled under your breath "istg if he's talking shit". About 2 minutes go by "He said he heard him say something about 'eyes' 'notes' and 'the lab yesterday' that's all he could tell." "Huh? The only thing that sounds familiar is him saying I have pretty eyes but nothing happened in the lab yesterday, and i was just taking the notes." "Wait what?!" "What?" "He said you have pretty eyes." "Yeah." "What did you say?" "Thanks i guess." "Y/n!" She said as she placed her palm on her forehead. "You do not know how to flirt do you?" "I do just not with him, you already know I don't like him." "Y/n i know you." "What's that supposed to mean." "You like him." "No I don't!" you say baffled and taken aback that she said that, "I saw you during the lab you would occasionally glance at him when he wasn't looking and smiled a bit when he talked, i see everything." she said those last few words in a creepy tone trying to sound scary. "Yeah right." "Just talk to him." "No, V i don't wanna talk about it anymore, please." She just nodded looking back in the mirror then putting the sun visor back up, "You got a text." she saw my phone from one of the cup holders. "From who?" "Caution, who's that?" "Nobody don't worry about it, tell me what it says." "'Can i have the notes from the lab yesterday?' WAIT THIS IS MATT! You have his number?" "He just texted me last night I don't even know how he got it, text him back and say ' y u need them u won't even use them?'" "Sent. Damn he read it right away, he's typing." "Isn't he in class?" "Yeah i thought he was too, he said 'fine you caught me, how's your day so far?' OOOO Y/n he's trying to flirt with you!" "No he's not ask him why he cares?" "He said 'Can i not ask how my lab partner is today?'" "Just say i'm fine, then put my phone down." "Your so dry." "Maybe it's because i don't like him." "Your literally gaslighting yourself." You just rolled your eyes staying focused on the road being close to the boba shop. "What are you gonna get?" She asked "I don't know yet. You?" "Same but Jay wants a Brown Sugar Milk Tea." "Damn that sound good." " I know right." "We here." "Yay" she said hopping out of the car and rushed in, you soon followed her into the shop ordered you drinks. Got them and started to head to school so you can bring Jay his drink.
Pulling up to the school you see Jay on the phone with someone but as soon as he saw your car he hung up the phone and waved. Driving up right next to him V handed him is drink and gave him a kiss as you looked away, someone catching you eye as they were walking up to the car. "Is that Matt?" V asked "Yeah, Me, him and a couple others left for lunch." "Why is he coming over here?" "Well imma go back to the lunchroom, Love you" "Love you too" you cringed a bit, you could see Matt coming closer to the car gesturing to roll the window down so he can talk to you. Rolled your window down as he go closer, "Now can i have the notes?" You reached for your backpack in the backseat and got out the notes from your class. "Here, just give it back to me tomorrow during class." "Ok, wait you were driving?" "No i was sitting in the backseat and the car was driving itself." "You know you can't text and drive." "Yeah it's basic knowledge, everyone knows that." "Just don't wanna see you get hurt." You rolled your eyes and asked "Is that all?" "Yeah i'll l talk to you more in the lab tomorrow." "Great." you said sarcastically and drove off. You turned to quickly glance at V because she was being painfully quiet, she was smirking at you. "What?" "Oh nothing." She said and looked out her window.
