𝓣he show started the same way as it always did when Lee Young-ji opened the show. She rocked those quirky red cherry glasses that covered half her face, exuding her signature style. She introduced the sponsor and gathered energy from dancing and singing along to SEVENTEEN's Left&Right. That's when her guest arrived looking all pretty in a basic loose shirt and trousers.
Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted the chaos. "Who's there?" Young-ji hollered with excitement, her powerful voice resonating.
"Hello! I'm Nari!" came the response, a soft and timid voice belonging to the talented soloist.ű
"Wow! Even her voice is pretty!" Young-ji exclaimed, her volume never dropping for a moment. She welcomed Nari, the younger artist who held a few plastic bags in her hand. "Hello! Hello!" the blonde greeted everyone in the room and all the cameras with her characteristic charm. "I brought cherries!" she explained, taking out the boxes from the bags and sharing them with the crew and Young-ji.
"Thank you! But I think it's too healthy for us today," Young-ji quipped in her iconic manner, always ready with witty remarks. She guided Nari to her seat, encouraging her to relax and enjoy the show. Nari nodded shyly, feeling a bit overwhelmed by Young-ji's larger-than-life personality.
As the pizza and soju were laid out before her, Nari couldn't believe she was on the show, sharing the stage with the famous Lee Young-ji. "Wow! I can't believe I'm here! Mama, I made it!" she exclaimed, her cheeks turning red like cherries.
Young-ji couldn't help but tease, "Look! She's blushing! So cute!" Her boisterous laughter filled the room, and Nari couldn't help but smile, gradually feeling more comfortable in Young-ji's presence.
"Thank you so much, but no way, you're just saying that because you have to," Nari bashfully responded.
Young-ji grinned and pushed her cherry glasses to the top of her head. "No, no, I'm a very honest and serious person!" she said, her sincerity shining through.
Nari laughed at Young-ji's playful response, feeling at ease in the presence of the experienced and supportive artist.
"How much can you drink?" inquired Young-ji. "From about 1 and a half, 2 bottles of soju, I feel drunk, if I remember correctly, but I only drink occasionally so I'm not sure."
"Wait, then why did you choose this show?" came the next question. "I really like watching the show and you're quite funny Sunbaenim so I always wanted to meet you."
And after that, she asked Nari if she really watches the show and questioned her on every episode that she stated that she watched. That's how they ended up tipsy from the Hunminjeongeum game, in the weirdest, most unserious headwears, and that's how Nari found herself sitting cross-legged with a ring on her finger, that was designed for children, playing the star game with her newfound unnie, after a few rounds of karaoke.
As the interview progressed, Young-ji's loud and energetic nature complemented Nari's shy and modest demeanor, creating a delightful and engaging dynamic.
"Before we continue, Nari, I heard you're a fellow CARAT! Please send a video message to SEVENTEEN." at that Nari looked in the camera that was focusing on her and just said anything that came to her mind.
"Hello, SEVENTEEN sunbaenim! It's Nari here! I hope you're all doing great and staying healthy.I admire each and every one of you. Your talent, dedication, and passion for music are truly inspiring. Your music and every other content have been a source of comfort and joy during both the good and challenging times. DK sunbaenim your voice is like pure magic, and every time you sing, it feels like you're reaching into our hearts. Your passion for music shines through in every note, and you've brought so much happiness to countless people, including me. SEVENTEEN sunbaenim, keep being the wonderful artists and people you are. Your sincerity and dedication have touched the lives of so many, and you're an inspiration to all of us. Remember, no matter how tough things get, you have CARATS supporting you every step of the way. So, take care, keep making incredible music, and know that you have a special place in my heart. Sending you all lots of love from me to you!" and with that she waved and blew a kiss to the camera as a way of finishing the message.
Throughout the show, Young-ji's passion for music and rap resonated with Nari, who found herself opening up more, sharing stories about her solo debut and her album "🍒". Young-ji's encouraging words and genuine interest in Nari's journey made the experience unforgettable.
As the episode drew to a close, Young-ji praised Nari's talent and resilience. "I can tell that 'Cherries' is just the beginning of your bright solo career!"
Nari's smile beamed with gratitude, and she couldn't help but feel inspired by Young-ji's passion and charisma. "Thank you, Young-ji. Your energy is contagious, and I've had an amazing time on the show."
At the end of the show she had to rush with the picture, her signature, and the lip mark since she had to visit a toilet but she didn't want to risk getting stuck in Young-ji's. But besides this, she had an amazing time with her unnie and always thought fondly of the memory of when she got drunk for the first time on the internet.
