The moon was shining particularly brightly that day through the windows of Nari's room. She was sitting on the window seat gazing outside towards the sky filled with sparkling stars. She did this often, looking out towards the sky and thinking of anything and everything. It provided her with a sense of comfort, she could watch the sun rising and setting, the clouds moving, or the different constellations, it always disconnected her from the real world and she could forget about all of her problems. Whenever she lacked inspiration she would sit down and just look up and her thoughts would bring her into a better space.

This night was no different, throughout the day she couldn't help but think of her career, life, and relationships. Her career was thriving, she was working hard every day and it showed in her results, she had fans supporting her from all over the world, who sent sweet, encouraging messages, and endorsement deals offered to her, and it's safe to say that she wasn't struggling financially. But Nari didn't care enough about her health and she gladly overworked herself if it meant that the outcome would be the best, on many occasions she put work over maintaining strong relationships, she rarely met with her friends, and even on get-togethers, she would be working in one way or another. She hardly ever did anything that was for herself, because frankly, she didn't know what else should he do. It was safe to say she was having a quarter-life crisis. So on the night of her birthday eve, she found solace in looking at the stars, trying to find constellations.

She was sitting in her grey checkered pajama pants and one of her ancient shirts that she got from her dad with a warm cup of coffee in her hands. She was there for hours but when the clock struck midnight the doorbell stirred Nari from her thoughts. She was confused about who could it be since from what she knew her parents were asleep and they didn't expect any visitors.

She took her sweet time getting to the front door, she chugged the last of her tea before putting her Ponyo mug, which was given to her by a fan, on her desk, she looked into her mirror to see if she was presentable enough for whoever was visiting at such hours and then she finally walked down the stairs. As she was passing by the kitchen she saw a beam of light and couldn't help but wonder why was someone awake at midnight. Nari changed her directions toward the kitchen, completely forgetting about the doorbell.
