I drove home feeling all giddy inside . He was really nice and I'm excited to see him again soon. It wasn't guaranteed but I had a feeling j would be seeing him.
Once I arrived home, everyone was awake. It was already 8:00am so it wasn't that early .
"Oh hey Jessie. Where were you?" Jake asked
"I was at the pharmacy, I got some Advil and a box of aspirin as well just in case" I told him
"Oh bless your soul , can I have an Aspirin ? I was drunk out if my mind yesterday and woke up with the worst hangover , and I couldn't find any" He said rubbing his temples
"Of course you can" I got out two tablets and brought him aglass of water the handed it to him . "Feel better soon"
"Thanks Jess"
I went into the kitchen to make some food and saw my mom ,Rafaela and Laura making some breakfast.
"Hey Jess, you're up early today" My mom said
"Yup , I was at the pharmacy and I went for a little hike" I told her
"That's good , we're making breakfast , wanna help ?" usually i would decline because I hate making breakfast but I was such in a good mood today that I couldn't say no.
"What's gotten you all happy today huh?" Laura asked , now I would tell her to mind her own business but as I said I was in such a good mood that everyone else could see it too .
"Well , I was out hiking today and I met someone" I said smiling
" Ooooohhhh" Rafa and Laura cooed
"Who is he , is he cute ??" Rafa asked
"His name is Julian , and yes he is cute" I told her .
"Good for you honey , meeting new people , you seem really happy that you met him" My mom said
"I am happy that I met him" I replied
We made some a bunch of food since we we're a lot .
*Ding *
It looks like I got a text message , I plopped myself on the kitchen counter top and checked my phone , It was Julian , that cheeky guy , we just met .
"Hey , how's your morning going ??"
"Well, it was going horrible but then I ran into a cute guy and then we went for coffee and out of nowhere, my morning was made. How's yours ?" I replied
"Well , it would be going better if I was still at the coffee shop talking with a certain cute girl" I smiled at that .
"Oooohhhh Jess is blushing" Laura said
"Are you texting him ?"Rafa asked
"Yes I am"
"Oh my gosh, what is he saying?" Rafa asked again
"Gosh Rafa could you please mind your own business ?"
"Well , since you said please ...no I wanna know what he said" woah has she been hanging around Jasmine because I'm sensing a bit of nosiness.
"No , go away , he's probably waiting on my response" I pushed her
"Then reply to your darn Romeo!" Laura said
"Shut up Laura" I replied blushing .
" She's blushing" They both said
"Girls leave the poor girl alone , you've bombarded her enough " My mom said
