Cuz, how have you been?" Willow smirked as she turned to me. I looked at the ceiling, wondering how my life got to this point. The ceiling does look interesting these days.

"You're wasting my time." His Italian accent thick and sexy. It was also deep and rough, which made me want melt into his arms.

Okay. Woah, I'm stopping now.

"Is it true you were with Kyla today?" Willow asked, ignoring wasting time bit.

"Kyla?" He questioned. Oh, right, he must've forgotten my name. Well, that kind of hurts. I brushed it off.

"Yes. My friend." Willow deadpanned, rolling her eyes in the process. He must have the biggest ego on earth.

"Oh. Yeah?" He asked, and there were some muffled sounds in the background.

"Yeah. Were you with her?" Willow asked.

"Yes." His deep voice sending shivers down my spine, once again. Stupid dumb teenage hormones.

"Look, it's not a big deal. I was helping her out. She's like a nobody." He then hung up, and Willow gave me an apologetic smile.

A nobody? Is that all I am to people? A freaking nobody? Well, actually...

"Are you okay?" Sky asked, and I nodded.

"Willow, you were supposed to tell us why you've been acting so strangely." I pointed out because I told her my thing, so she has to tell me hers.

"Okay. First of all, girl, you're badass and second." She blew a heavy sigh.

"I need to go back to Italy because I needed to find someone to interrogate, so we heard from sources that he was hiding out here in America." She explained, and I gestured for her to continue.

"So, my Familia in Italy is basically in the mafia, and the heir to the mafia is Matteo. We already have most of the countries as allies, and even if they decide to go against us, we will eliminate each and every one of them. The French is the country that is trying to take over, but we're not letting that happen, so by being here, we were in hiding and undercover at the same time." She finished, and I raised an eyebrow while Sky's jaw dropped. Was I supposed to do the same action she did?

"Does this mean we'll never see each other again?" I asked because I've gotten to know Willow, she's a great friend. I can't really make new friends because they are all sensitive. That's a nice way to put it. Willow's different. She will take every insult I throw at her, and she'll throw it back at me with twice as much force.

"No, we will." She reassured me, but I could tell from the tone of her voice that she is not sure.

"Wait! What if you come with me?" She abruptly asked, and I almost choked on my own spit.

"Italy?" I basically showed my emotion, which was confusion.

"Yeah. You've always wanted the Italian experience, and if you're worried about your studies, you can study there. I'll pay for you and Sky could -" She explained, but I cut her off.

"Italy? That's a new country. Yes, um, I know Italian, but it doesn't mean I'm fluent, and I don't know it's just a lot to take in. Let's sleep on it because it's late." I said while standing up. I really wanted her to take her up on the offer, but is it really worth leaving America? I like America... sometimes.

"Oh, and I'll come for those tomorrow morning." I rubbed my eyes because I haven't been wearing my glasses. My retina is irritating my eyes.

She nodded, and Sky and I headed on our way. We walked as it was peaceful at night, only the hooting of the owls were heard and the chirping of the crickets. It was a starless sky because it was winter. The grass was soft as we made our way to campus.
